What i see is a fine line of thinning between both arguments, black people are proud to be black yet drift from the stereotypes, but dont want to be white and white people are proud to be white and deviate from the norms of their society also but dont want to be black. In a sense its like white people want to be black for the culture, and black people wanna be white for the success and acceptance (which we have either way but in a room full of ceo's dr. smith is getting picked over dr. jenkins about 3/5). What i dont understand is that if a white person wants to be black, or gangsta, then they are hoes, hoodrats, and wiggers or white trash. then there is that middle column of white people then then upper class.
