B.E.T.: Ya Gotta Love 'Em
With all of this coverage on the election of the new Pope, I knew I could rely on BET to still be showing videos.
I hate when important world events happen and the major networks just force us to watch it. Even MTV will attempt to cover world events in a 'cool, hip' way.
But BET! They never falter!
It doesn't matter if George Bush gets shot, Osama Bin Laden is found playing Celo in Harlem, a Tsumami sinks Puerto Rico and the Rapture takes place - all on the same day; you can bet your last dollar that BET will have videos!

So what would yall suggest they have on the air. Personally I got sick of seeing stuff about the Pope on my T.V. The only stationed I watched during that period were stations that didn't cover the Pope.

How about showing more black realted issues.....what cares about the Pope...how come they didn't do a full cover story about Johnny Cochran......BET is really losing focus on black enpowerment and positive figuers and too worried about music videos and other bullshit......

Now thats what I'm talkin about.. Hats off and hands down to the truth! If he was soo holy, he shouldnt need that much security what about believe in God to protect you... Guess, the White Christians would rather hold someone as their prophet to protect them from something he has no control over. He can't stop gay marriages, can't stop corrupption, can't try to bring God's wrath on people who oppress the poor and needy. I believe in God but if you believe in holy scriptures then you should believe in to the extend where you don't need no one to protect you except God.
We all die someday, all that security don't make you immortal. If God wishes you to be either in Hell or Heaven, man can't do anything but give up hisa last breath!
