Over the weekend SOHH wrote up their annual April Fools Day joke and caught a bunch of bloggers and news outlets with their fact checker pants down.
The fake story claimed that Diddy was suing Proactive for failure to even out his bumpy face and "preserve his sexy". The story further claimed Proactive was blaming Diddy's love of Diet Pepsi as the real cause for his acne. Not until you get to the end of the story and click the link, does the story reveal itself as a joke.
Now, who would believe such a crazy story? Eurweb did. Crunk and Disorderly also picked it up (sorry, Ms. Fresh!), as well as Juicy Juice and Prof. GQ.
VH1's Best Week Ever blog mentioned the story, and linked to us. I'm hoping the story ends up on the TV show.
So, if you didn't know it before, understand it now - don't believe everything you read, especially on April Fools!
UPDATE: MuchMusic, ya'll are late, but we got you too!

I was wondering if you ever thought of changing the layout of your blog? Its very well written; I love what youve got to say. But maybe you could a little more in the way of content so people could connect with it better. Youve got an awful lot of text for only having 1 or two pictures. Maybe you could space it out better?
I've recently started a web site, the information you offer on this website has helped me greatly. Thanks for all of your time & work. "The only winner in the War of 1812 was Tchaikovsky" by Solomon Short.
I have seen many useful items on your site about computer systems. However, I've got the judgment that netbooks are still less than powerful sufficiently to be a good selection if you often do things that require plenty of power, just like video editing. But for website surfing, statement processing, and quite a few other common computer functions they are all right, provided you cannot mind the screen size. Appreciate sharing your thinking.
A few things i have seen in terms of laptop or computer memory is that often there are specifications such as SDRAM, DDR and so forth, that must fit the features of the mother board. If the computer's motherboard is very current and there are no main system issues, updating the memory literally requires under 1 hour. It's among the list of easiest laptop or computer upgrade techniques one can picture. Thanks for expressing your ideas.
Merely wanna remark that you have a very decent site, I like the style it really stands out.
Very great post. I just stumbled upon your weblog and wished to mention that I have really loved browsing your blog posts. In any case I’ll be subscribing to your rss feed and I am hoping you write again soon!
