Ife Oshun is a Biter
I already knew Ife Oshun is a weak writer who's style and taste is still stuck in the neo-soul craze, but I never thought she would steal material from a blog.
I thought Ife's bosses (The New York Times) had stronger policies against plagarism after that whole Jayson Blair thing. I guess not.
Full disclosure: around 5 or 6 years ago I helped create the rap/hiphop section at About.com, where Ife writes. Despite my help in getting the section created, they hired Ife to be the writer/blogger there. So yes, I'm a hater.

How fucking irrlelevant is this post???? Don't make this fucking site about you and your petty jealousies!! How about a topic on the MJ trials or on how 50 is gettin murdered by Crack and Jada with the whole battle thing. DUMBEST FUCKING TOPIC EVER!

Chima, I can understand why you're not interested in this but why all the hate? Media Chin-Check is a media blog and this is a perfectly legitimate topic. Hashim is writing about The Source and 50 and all that stuff is pretty much played out as a topic.
Anyway, all writers have beef. Bloggers are just honest about it.

Ife is a bitter person, i really found that out when i read her article on the album Loyal to the game. Saying the only reason eminem did the album for production bucks, when he really gave all proceeds to tupacs school of art. she needs to get her facts right!
