The Jump Off: 60 Days To A Hip-Hop Hard Body

First, let me say that this is a good exercise book. The writer, Mark Jenkins doesn't push gimmicks or shortcuts. And the results of Mark's advice can be seen on D'Angelo (the old D', not the new D'), Mary J. Blige, and P. Diddy when he ran the NYC Marathon.

But peep it- if you want to buy this book then you're probably a hip young man or woman who cares about their image. Now with that in mind why would Mark make his book look like this:

Yikes.

This must be the most unitentionally funny "hip-hop design" since Jimmie Hatz- the hip-hop condom. Should I go as far and say that bad design in hip-hop is offensive? Nah, I won't go there (again).

yo i can't believe the ignorance coming from this cat.
you thank God that pac died before his acting career took off, dam, that's probably the most ignorant shit i read this year.
hip hop is back because you got some hood pretend ass gangsta cats talking shit and messing up what hip hop has always been about, and that's bringing the truth and bringing up the youth.
yo i hope you were joking with what you wrote.
yo wake up kid, the shorties look up to these fake ass cats.
and you giving props the very thing that's keeps this and the next generation from surpassing the shit that keeps us down.

You guys make this more than what it is. Ain't nobody dissin Hip Hop culture. This cats just trying to help young people get in shape. All this about him keeping the next generation from surpassing! What are you talking about? Relax man. It ain't that serious. Seems like a bunch of anger inside, and that's actually what keeps the next generation from surpassing. You sound like you had a really bad day. God Bless.

P.S. Kenroc: keep your chin up! Don't trip.
