Judging by this exhaustive list of 40oz sightings on tv, movies, etc., it seems that malt liquor is the ultimate media representation of g-h-e-t-t-o.

you know that is some f$%&@ed up s!$t to do to martha she really don't know any better. it's the Jail House life and being with those thugs got her like that

yo hashim, the list you provided of 40oz sightings got me bugged. all these knuckle heads (and i would like to emphasize KNUCKLE HEADS)in the "hood" do is drink cheap beer and smoke weed. there is no better representation in the media. this is really art mimicking life. it's the same thing with cheech and chong and their ganja glorification. to me this is a non-issue. the martha stewart parody is laugh out loud funny though. also i would ike to see u post ur opinion of this forty oz trend in pop culture.

IF this is true about her, I think it is time to see (WHITE FOLK) market thier own products instead of pertraying a negetive out look when it is done by some of our young black sisters and brother. We have been marketing tools for centuries, clothing , music, car manufactures anything that relates to our culture has become societies golden goose for mainstream and they are getting rich off of us just as they have done 400 years ago.See today we don't want to here the truth it's right under our nose but we decide to keep our minds closed. It's Modern Day Slavery, yet instead we still sleep walk this earth not really knowing our true potenials our true purpose. We are the chossen few from many different walks of life. Everything in life happens for a reason, even slavery. We are a positive people of great intellegencs we as black have created this so call great country of ours with blood ,sweat, tears, and even our lives. All i can say about Martha is that drinking a 40 only make her stand out and get more attenion, Yet some say the hard life of poverty, jail or even getting shot 9 times horrible yet they embrace it and glorified it to sell to consumers, do your thang Martha caue it's been a long time coming.
