So Pitbull is getting a lil’ buzz with that “Tell Me†joint featuring Frankie J. Now it was catchy to ya boy Goya but the genius minds at TVT had a brain fart recently. Nix Frankie and throw Tony Sunshine on that muhfucka.
I ain’t mad at this new Pitbull song (listen here: myspace.com/pitbull). The joint called “Tell Me†featuring Frankie J and Ken-Y is a slow jam for you and your wifey. But don’t be fooled it’s the English version of “Dime†featuring Ken-Y from his last album El Mariel.
Some of our Latino MC representatives are the middle of some legal drama. First in a federal court decision Pitbull’s record label TVT, has been ordered to pay $9.1 million in damages to independent record label Slip-N-Slide.

Pitbull is presently the best-selling Latino artist not named Joe. Duke went gold off his first album M.I.A.M.I. and is aiming to expand on that number with El Mariel. Although the title (named for the infamous Cuban boatlift that relocated almost 125,000 cubanos to Florida) might suggest a politically charged album, it doesn’t beat you over the head with preachy rhymes.
