EXCLUSIVE: Omar Cruz Album Preview Pt. 1

So last week I was in L.A. for some biznass, and BYI boss LuLu and Ever took me around town. While in their car they bumped a couple of Omar Cruz tracks off his upcoming album Sign of the Cruz. Don’t wanna sound bias but the shit was pretty on point. Just off the tracks I listened to, which bare in mind aren’t mastered, etc., I’d give it a 4/5.

Here are some of the tracks I remember, titles are set in stone. “Ain’t No Stoppin’ Us” featuring Frankie J is definitely a possible crossover hit. Something for the chicks but still rough enough for the dudes. Next up was a hard ass West coast anthem with The Game which will probably be a single at the top of ’08. There’s also an introspective cut (he has a good chunk so you’ll get to know who MC is) where he’s talking to God. That one has the Grammy winning brothers act Los Lonely Boys. In all the tracks OC’s voice goes well with the tracks. It’s like the producers, which included in-house dude Rome and Cool & Dre, tailored made this ish for his gruff ass voice (pause). Check in manana for the second part.

He might be in East L.A., Whittier or some shit, but I ain't never seen him in the Eastside or South Side or even the Hollywood clubs for that matter. 1 person I have seen a lot of lately is Ja Rule. Damn, I ain't never seen 50 in the club, nope! nope! But yeah, Omars voice is annoying and his delivery is very sub par, dude is just garbage if you ask me!
