Latinos Stand Up!

Daddy Yankee's Got That ''Cane," Tego, Ivy, Calle 13 Rock The Block

If you saw CBS’ Cane last week you know two things: a) the actress that plays Jimmy Smits wife just had her Quinceñera last year and b) they are going to milk some Latino stereotypes like falling for white girls (it’s just a phase), we all like to f**k, drink rum and smoke some cigars.

So it comes to no surprise that reggaeton will be a part of the mix. Daddy Yankee will make a performing appearance on tonight’s second episode. He’ll be performing at the Duque Nightclub on the show. But seriously, this Cane show might be the biggest TV show to ever happen for Latinos. So support it. It seems like they planted some good seeds in the debut, all it needs is darker Latinos. We ain’t all light-skinned. Check DY on Cane tonight on CBS at 10PM (Eastern).

PS: Tomorrow in NYC La Kalle will be throwing their Third Annual Block Party at Madison Square Garden. It’ll be jam-packed with every mofo and they mama (El Cangri, Tego, Ivy Queen, Calle 13, Rakim y Ken-Y, among others). Tickets are available at(212) 307-7171 or at thegarden.com.
