Latinos Stand Up!
Joell Ortiz Comes Home To BK
So I went to the DUMBO area in BK this past weekend to enjoy Zune’s “Live at the BBQ” concert series. In the VIP area I chilled with Aqua from Allhiphop.com and saw other cats who work for what we call hip-hop. There was a ton of cats I wanted to see well namely two: Joell Ortiz and Large Professor. Missed Joell and Extra P (because someone was late) but I did get a nice Masta Ace performance.
Another thing I peeped was Joell’s down-to-earth personality. Sayin what up to hood cats and hipsters alike. As I looked at duke I just thought “damn, Dre, please don’t F it up for the kid.” He obviously on the grind, gaining more fans, gaining more notoriety. That’s all Joell can do for now. Until the Aftermath debut is ready.
