The big homie Joell Ortiz is hard at work on his Aftermath debut but he still found time to talk to SOHH Latino for a bit. He let us know why he drops 125 bars instead of a measly 16.
“Dudes kind of got it in their head that when you drop a couple of hot bars it’s 16 bars. So I wanted to raise the standard incredibly,†said Ortiz to SOHH.com. “When I throw something out I do 125. Can y’all dudes do that? Do you even have it in you? Can you make someone even listen to you? Can you keep people’s attention span? Can you stick to a topic? Or do you even wanna do this? It’s not easy. I did it to separate myself.â€
