J Lo Gets Swizz Beatz Up

First he’s establishing himself as a pretty damn good solo artist, then revitalizing Eve and now Swizz Beatz is gonna lend some magic to Jenny Lo. According to vh1.com they’re working together on her next English language album, which is a good idea cuz that Spanish one is type weak in sales and quality.

"I'm really excited about it," Lopez told the site. "The first single will be out this summer. And, you know, it's very different from my Spanish album. This [next] album is more of what people and my fans are used to — you know, just kind of a dance, funk, R&B, hip-hop, all that stuff, all mixed up together to make some great pop music.”

Good for clubs I guess. At least we can all rest assured Swizz won’t be jacking any Beatnuts track and calling it his own.

  • The Spanish album is quality. Why do ppl just want to be fed the same thing over and over? Why can't an artist try something different? I love the album. And I don't know why J. Lo is always hated on. She's the most successful Latina in history and I as a Latino am proud of that and her success. Whether you like it or not she's one representation of us and in, some cases, the only representation some ppl get. She's still hungry and she hustles. What's wrong with that?
