Ivy Queen Gets Sued For $10 Million

Oh how reggaeton and hip-hop have so many similarities--from the cornrolls to the shady dealings. Ivy Queen’s former manager, Jorge “Goguito” Guadalupe Delgado, is suing her for 10 million bucks.

He was recently interviewed by TV y Novelas and was letting the public know that Ivy did him dirty. He says he initially began negotiations with Univision for Ivy but then was told by her to go to Machete. Then out of nowhere she went with Univision and he was called by her lawyer and let go. Why 10 mill? Why not? With cases like these it’s hard to know who’s in the wrong and who’s in the right.

    This is a common practice for her, If you guys didn't know she did the same thing and much worse to her ex partner/producer/man "Gran Omar". She made everyone turn on the guy and no one believed him when he was claiming to be the victim; now we have proof it was all the way around. Something else... Jorge "Gogito" Guadalupe put Ivy on the map rescuing her from a major slump during the genre's transition from the "Underground" era to the "Sex/Techno" era and hooking her up with gigs on "The Magestic" and "Kilates" and got her deal for her "Diva" album and so on. One more thing... Gogito wouldn't be suing her if he knew she didn't have the money, so my opinion is to go ahead with the case and settle out of court as usual.

    I received an email from this person and I tried to call the phone number this morning that they provided me with. You did not answer nor did you return my call.

    I really don't understand how my name has come up in all this. I am saddened that you would stoop as low as name calling when as I read it seems that you are not sure who this person you are arguing with really is.

    I just wanted to share with you and your readers these pictures of Ivy Queen at an event she attended recently in the Bronx.

    The event was coordinated by "Hands On New York", a non-profit organization which helps kids and mothers who currently live in a Bronx shelter.

    As I was told by those who attended, Ivy Queen brought $$$, pizza, donuts, juice, CDs and posters for everyone.

    It's always great to hear artists who are willing to help our community in one way or another.
