Last Of A Dying Breed: T-Weaponz

Brooklyn boricuas T-Weaponz’s new single “Dem Boyz” featuring Trae and Shamrock debuted No. 7 on the Billboard R&B/hip-hop singles chart. This is their second single to do well; the first was the Spanglish hit “Mira Mira” featuring Pitbull and Notch.

Composed of IzReal, Psalmz and Arkitek, T-Weaponz are an East NY-reared trio sling rhymes in both Spanish and English. Starting out in the late ‘90s, they opened for the likes of DMX, Big Pun, Jigga, Wu Tang Clan, Mos Def and dead prez. TW have stayed on the grind, selling over 50,000 digital downloads, over 10,000 EPs and over 50,000 mixtapes. For a crew to combine a unique street philosophy and odd literary references the above is a damn accomplishment... especially when kids don’t wanna hear knowledge in rap anymore.

T-Weaponz are truly the last of a dying breed: rappers with a style all their own. For more information check myspace.com/tweaponz.
