Termanology is That Dude, Bean Shoes

By now, some of y’all should have heard about Massachusetts’s half French, half Puerto Rock spitter, Termanology. The kid is nice with it . . . he might be the dude Latinos have been waiting for since Big Pun passed away. His DJ Premier-laced “Watch How It Go Down” has been burning up college radio shows and your boy Goya’s iPod.

His new independent album Hood Politics IV: Show And Prove hits the shelves on Nov. 21 on his own St. Records. The mixtape/album is hosted by Clinton Sparks and mixed by Statik Selektah. Check the production creds and featured MCs: Preemo, MoSS, Papoose, Lil’ Fame, Royce da 5’9, Prospect and Trife da God. Hood shit at its best.

Next year he’s looking to drop his official debut with (get a load of this) production by Preemo (damn is he co-signing him hard) Nottz, Buckwild, Pete Rock, Alchemist and Hi-Tek! Are you kiddin me? Duke is that nice that he’s got legendary producers giving him beats without having a record deal. According to Term’s team the album is coming out regardless. Sounds like Illmatic? Wishful thinking I know but damn it we need it.

  • Term needs to get a wider audience than just the Bean, because all these Bean headz arent gonna do anything but get themselves support. Thats cool cuz Im from there as well, but we need to do like Clinton Sparks said and focus on making better music. Term besides a very few Bean artists can do that. Hope it all goes well with u Term.
