After nearly two weeks of getting smacked around by John McCain and Sarah Palin, Barack Obama is finally showing signs that he knows how to get gully. Yesterday the Democratic nominee gave a speech in Boulder, CO that many are considering to be one of his strongest moments in the campaign.

He continued with his message that "John McCain doesn't get it" and even told the crowd that the economy would get worse if McCain were elected.

(By the way wtf is up with the market?! And why does John McCain keep saying that it is fundamentally strong?!)

Now, I don't know about you, but I have been waiting to see this type of tough talk from Barack for months now. Yes, I know that Obama has to be careful, after all, I am not sure that America is ready to see Barack dial up his attitude to level red quite yet. (I for one want to see Barack in a closed room when he is angry. I am sure he dials up the n-word lingo a little bit. He has to right? I mean, I bet he doesn't turn into Sam "M'fing" Jackson, but you know that he has to let the word "n*gga" slip out now and then. But Obama can't continue to be passive, he has to go on the offensive. After all, Americans love red meat.

Of course, his campaign recently told the media that Obama is going to respond to the McCain attacks a lot more swiftly, but I do think that his campaign needs to go on the offensive.  And if it isn't Obama, maybe some of his supporters  could put together a PAC that focuses exclusively on mud slinging.   I know there out there, but for some reason Obama told his donors not to support them, although I did hear that he recently backed off of that statement. We'll see, there is still a lot of time before November.
