I'm Glad Obama Didn't Have Those Dudes Tased!

Last Friday Barack Obama was heckled by a group of young African American protesters at a campaign stop in St. Petersburg. The small group of young men were seated behind Obama and unfurled a banner that read "What about the Black community, Obama?" While the large crowd started to boo the brothas, Obama used the skills he learned as an organizer  to quell the madness. He  even allowed the protesters to ask a question about police brutality.

I gotta give it to these dudes, they had a lot of guts.  These are the questions that many young people of color worry about on a daily basis.  It took a lot of courage to face down the potential president of the United States and hit him with the real talk. Especially because this could have gotten really ugly really quick.  Remember that white dude that got tazered at the University of Florida last year after he wouldn't shut up at a John Kerry speaking event.  That dude got tazered and he wasn't even a brotha.

Watch the video of heckler getting tazered.

I'm pretty sure Obama might have had them tazed if he hadn't been a community organizer before he became a politician  Hopefully he won't go all gangsta when he become president.  After all the drama between the community and the cops isn't gonna stop when Obama becomes president, especially since police departments aren't a part of the federal government.

Shouts out to Fat Rat for the handoff.

Biko dude asking the question didn't show Obama the same courtesy...the idiot kept yelling as Obama tried to answer. At the end of the day if we don't stop killing each other and treating each other like animals, then should ANYBODY treat us with respect.

I bet you that dude asking the question got a criminal record. That old fake ass militant shit is dated. We are our own worst enemy!

lmao. Ether! He put them dudes to sleep and he did it while being polite.

4:30 = "Why don't you run for office your damn self?" LoL.

Peep game…
Obama takes a note from aspiring “Rap” artists who stage incidents to gain attention (usually to make them look “down”, “real”, or tough, etc.).

Ex: a crowd member at a concert, apparently trying to prove who's “boss”, calls out the “act” on stage, this gives the “act” the opportunity to prove themselves to the world.

Osama been Bama accomplishes several things w/ this tactic: (you ponder the order of importance)

1) Lets the world, black community included, know he is aware of the issues and makes these issues known to those more “apathetic”, or caught unawares.

2) Helps whites remember he is different from the young black youth they so dearly fear.

3) Lets whites and older cats see that he can handle the young black youth they so dearly fear (as well as stressfull and tense sichhee-A-shuns he hasn’t been proven the ability to handle via Dem. Debates, etc.).

Obama has this calculated to a “T”. Just you watch and see! (You all know u r thinkin’ this. You all know u feel like you’ll jinx him by admitting, out loud, he is the spook that sat by the dizoor”

(I don’t care if he wins; man doesn’t have the answer to mankind’s problems. Only Jehovah God does. “I well know, O Jehovah, that to earthling man his way does not belong. It does not belong to man who is walking even to direct his step.” – Jer 10:23

I don't think Obama put this guy up to this shit, cause home dude was just too darn ignorant. I truly believe that some republican person paid him and looking at dude, he would take any amount to get a bag of trees. Barak carried himself with mad charisma and swag. John McCain can't even hold his expression when touching someone with a slightly darker tone than his. Check out how he looks while shaking the hand of the Dali Lama. Look, our jobs as under privileged, struggling, lost colored folks (all persons of some type of color they are BORN with) is to make sure this man becomes president. Hey, VerbalPainter, man may not have the answer to mankind's problems, but with help of the Lord thy Father, he can guide them in the right direction. Didn't Moses? And let's not make this a religious debate, I'm just responding. Just like you tell people, follow the word and not the man, but most people hold their pastors up on pedestals and when they falter in some way people want to leave their church because of what a MAN did instead acknowledging that he still of flesh but what he speaks is the truth. Barak is our political preacher, I don't follow the man, I follow the plan!!!
