One of the cool things about being a blogger and excellent Sim City player is that you get invited to a lot of cool sh@t. For example, I just got invited to help host a discussion at the Democratic Convention about the role that the digital divide plays in the political process. I hear that the conversation will be in the Big Tent...I have no idea what that means but I'll make sure I'll get back to you with info about where I'll be next week.

I've never been to the convention before. I hear it's sort of like the NBA Allstar game for political nerds.

Hopefully no rappers will get their chains snatched and no random strippers will get killed by football players. I really have limited patience for n-word activities these days.

I'm also going to be on Radio Row talking with cool folks like Davey D, Warren Ballentine and National Public Radio, so I'll make sure I shout out all the SOHH'ers when I'm on the radio. Who knows maybe some of you fellow political nerds can call in when I'm on the air and we can chop it up about how Obama is blowing it for not picking HRC.

I'll also be posting a whole lot of pics and insights from the week's activities...so make sure you check back here frequently. Who knows, I might even get to score an interview with actor/activist Rosario Dawson, whose group Voto Latino is working to mobilize young latino voters.

It seems like everytime I go to one of these events Ms. Dawson is there working the room like a crazy street team sniper.

So hit me up at hiphop4prez@gmail if you'll be in Denver. Maybe we can grab a beer or something.

And oh yeah, I can't help any of you nerds get into any of the cool parties, but if you hit me up early enough I can give you some general tips on sneaking in. I've perfected the art of crashing a party.

It means you are probably going to be on CNN. So good luck and follow these rules:

1. Have accurate statistics prepared.
2. Avoid venacular.
3. Dress for success.
4. Know something unique (Asian, Hispanic stats, what minorities use net for most often, programs to improve digital divide that are working etc.)

This is something that I could help you with. I keep such data on the ready.
