Im excited and ready for it!!!!

Athough I think an Obama-Edwards ticket sounds damn good for November, my sis and I were talking about this earlier while watching his endorsement speech and we--along with other political analysts--think he's gunning for Attorney General. Seeing as though they're appointed by the Prez, if Obama wins, John can get his support and appointment. He did used to be an attorney, so that wouldn't be far off. Either way, I'm digging the idea of him getting some shine because I LOVE John Edwards! He's one of those rare politicians who actually care about the people.

Obama has just become a lot more electable. It is similar to JFK and Lyndon B Johnson: Democrats that appeal to different voters. JFK was the first Catholic and to appeal to those who were afraid of a Catholic president he took Johnson as his VP... Obama possibly the first black president and to appeal to voters who may be afraid of a black president he takes Edwards as his VP. I don't even support Obama, but whatever damage was done by a Clinton Obama feud no longer matters. Edwards' backing was the best thing that could have happened for Obama, and Democrats in general. McCain was once leading polls because of the schism in the Democratic party but this will definitely bridge the gap of the party. It was a very interesting move, but anyone could figure that Edwards was going to wait until there seemed to be a clear cut winner. This just happens to be extremely fortunate for Obama.

I've been saying obama edwards ticket since edwards dropped out in february.

Edwards said publicly that he wasn't bucking for a vp slot anyways, so I dunno... maybe. I think he voted for clinton during his NC primary tho. The way he was talking, it seemed like it. His endorsement is a great move on his part though. He picked a winner in the end.

Obama has it sewed up tight and with the dems taking over, doesn't look like america is going to let a republican back into the white house for at least another 8 years.

So congratulations to our next president Barack Obama.

To edwards: thanks for finally endorsing.

Hopefully he will campaign hard for his newfound presidential pick.

O has been steadily been picking up supers left and right, while H has barely gotten 5 since PA. 5 supers for hill versus the 30 supers for Barry since PA? Yeah, its over. One of her supers admitted to voting for Obama in his Indiana primary.

Its only a matter of time and Johnny wants to be on the winning side. Can't be mad at that.

There were news reports and rumors of Barack Obama secretly meeting with John Edwards at his home in Chapel Hill after John dropped out.

Barack and Hillary has been courting John Edwards endorsement ever since he dropped out because they would be able to collect John Edwards 19 convention delegates.

And no,John Edwards is not going to completely save Barack when it comes to the stupid uneducated white vote.

Ive been around and boy i'll tell ya,these dummies really believe that Barack is muslim.

That plus the reverend Wright issue equals Barack has a lot of explaining to do to dumb a$$e$.

I was going to post a news article about that Obama 08 monkey T-shirt 3 days ago because i recognized that this blog likes to play on blacks racial insecurities and over-exaggerated victim mentality instead of dealing with facts.

Im surprised that nobody said that John Edwards waited a long time to endorse Barack because hes a racist cracker.LOL!

Maybe some of you need to come clean and be as honest as me because half of you dont even care about,know or understand Baracks positions on different issues.

It's amazing how Libs support losers so much. Dean destroyed his own campaign....and now he's running the democratic party. Edwards ran mucho times for president and VP....and lost 100% of the time....and you fools are happy for his Obama endorsement? Edwards couldn't win in his home state. You all act as if Jesus himself just endorsed Obama.

This is politics people. Edwards waited so long to endorse because he wanted to see who the front runner was going to be. Had it been Clinton, he would have endorsed her. It makes sense for his sake to keep his political career alive... It don't matter who the V.P. is, but i like the Governor from New Mexico as his running mate. Definately NOT Clinton and her shady ass...

I think Edwards was giving Clinton the benefit of the doubt here and didn't want to endorse anyone until there was almost a clear cut winner. I have no doubt in my mind that he wanted to endorse Obama before but when you have a heavyweight like the Clintons involve, he was probably treading the line so he won't miss up his political career. If he would have endorsed Obama earlier and Obama lost, do you think Hillary would forgive him? Not on your life and your childern and children's children. There is also a rumor that his wife likes Hillary because of the healthcare plan. I think alot of democrat politicians have made up there mind and just want this campagain to end. The longer this goes on, the worse it will be for the nominee to catch up to McCain in the general election campagain. Edwards might be also look for a spot in the cabinet or VP spot.

Nothing but a white man selling out to a Black Muslim for a position in the adminstration. Hillary is still our country's best bet.

The timing couldn't have been better! He KNEW he was going to get bully-footed in WV and he needed something with some really good media spin to take the attention off of her and back on to him. So, he waited until after the WV elections...and just when the talk of a Hilary "comeback" would get started - BAM! Edwards endorses him and almost puts Hilary out for the count. GENIUS timing!

John Edwards just going to hop on the bandwagon again huh, but yeah edwards lacks any appeal here, and he's not that experienced himself, Obama should find someone with experience to balance out his inexperience which is likely going to be attacked in the general election

When it comes to experience, please someone tell me what the criteria is? No of these people have been president. In Clinton's chase, just because you slept with the president, doesn't mean you could be president. We have seen where "experience" has gotten us. "Experience" is just some bureaucratic b.s. that is meant to control us, to make us think that we need some one who is doing the same shit they have been doing for years that has not benefited no one but their own pockets. Bill was the governor of Arkansas. Did he have any foreign relations experience? Bush was governor of Texas but was he totally qualified to run a nation. Come on people, wake up! Vote for someone who has most of your interest at heart. They could always hire people with said experience in there cabinet.

He waited so long just for this reason. It's like holding on to that trump card right until the end. It was well played. People instantly forgot that Hillary kicked Obama's ass in racist West Virginia. No doubt Obama has something lined up for old thumb pointer John Edwards.

I think this was planned. The timing is TOO perfect. Pure genius on the part of Obama. Yesterday Hillary had interviews on mostly all of the networks to follow up her MAJOR win but by the time the evening news came around this endorsement is all that anyone cared about. She got no shine for her accomplishment Tuesday. I support Barack but I'm not expecting much change. His strategy still suggest politics as usual. Just a smarter and more strategic type of politics. And I have no problem with good planning and execution.

Edwards is after the crumbs, thats all.

I think it took long because he was leaning to Sen. HRC, but changed his mind. I still am a HRC supporter, and I will not switch until everyone vote. It will NOT BE

Um, yesterday, Pastor Manning SAID that he had concrete evidence that Obama and Rev. Wright were involved in a homosexual relationship. I really don't believe him. I wish people would stop talking about what Obama needs to do to win over the "white working class" voter. He could offer every American $5,000 for their vote and he still wouldn't win in West Virginia. It is his race...it is as simple as that. Nothing he does or says can change their mind. They could have a dog running for president against Obama and the dog would win the vote in West Virginia. People get mad at blacks for voting for Obama just because he is black.
