I don't know what to think about The Source's July cover. It's definitely controversial.
At the end of the day I really think this image is a metaphor for what's really wrong with The Hip-Hop Generation. While it could be said that we are fearless and ready to take on the world, the truth of the matter is that we are on the brink of self-destruction. Can't wait to read the story.

Wow, This really tells you that the entertainment business is not as glamorous as it looks. Game and Lupe Fiasco ( The Cool is a classic!!!) are the best rappers in the game right now. Cant wait for LAX to come out.

You guys don't know your history. Dre posed for a source cover with a gun to his head back in 1992 or so. Game is once again on the jock of west coast legends.

According to sources, Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson" is on the verge of signing a 10 year deal which will give News Corp far reaching control over the 50 Cent brand. And the deal is also poised to launch the company's MySpace Records into the big leagues.
At least half of the deal will be in stock. 50 Cent will be one of the largest shareholders of News Corp. when the deal is done. Some of the terms of the proposed deal include:
-50 Cent's website Thisis50.com, one of the fastest growing websites in the world, will be acquired and run by News Corp
-The multi-platinum 50 Cent and his G-Unit artists will move to a new G-Unit label created under MySpace Records.
-50 Cent and G-Unit music publishing
-G-Unit book deal
-all of 50's concert touring would be marketed and sold through a newly created News Corp entity
-50 would get his own production studio to put out film and tv projects.
While nothing has been finalized, the deal is scheduled to go into effect in 2009 , after 50 Cent and G-Unit fulfill their album requirements with Interscope Records.
