  • I see a lot of you rather law down and take a rusty penis in your anus from authority. This was a proud moment for New York, Im in Nashville Tn applauding those folk. 50 shots was unreasonable, certainly if you are a cop in plainclothes at night, in a strip/club spot where its historically known for jacking. The New York justice system let those officers walk, COMPLETELY! You should feel outraged, but I reckon that life is expendable, right? Why is that I wonder. I hope some of the posts above me are voices of the interlopers, they tend to linger around issues like this and add commentary as if they relate to you but in actuality they wish to keep you stupid, uneducated, complacent and apathetic. Young people the choices you make today will define and affect everyones future in some way large or small. BE SMART! BE AWARE! READ BETWEEN THE LINES!

  • I agree with Dr. Flav to an extent. I believe something needs to be done, but the way Al Sharpton is going about it isn't going to change anything. This is NOT the 1960's anymore, Al. It's going to take more than getting arrested to help change things. Instead of JUST protesting, get people to write letters to government officials and make it public who you wrote to. At the end of the day a government official is appointed and their reputation is everything. They won't risk not being re-elected if they see how many people--especially if it's their core demographic--actually care. Now that will light a fire under somebody ass I guarantee you that one!

  • @ ratz: hiphop4prez isn't trying to stop you from "raising up the people". It is clearly stated in that brown box up above that this is a moderated blog and comments need to be held for approval. Be patient. I still don't know how the tart who keeps talking about spider loc gets approved but that's none of my business.

Al sharpton is a joke. He ran for president once too. He didn't even try. All he is good for is crying foul when things don't go his way (the because im black defense) and keeping the Relaxer industry in business.

To al sharpton: don't drop the soap.

Regarding the sean bell protest itself: I think its nice that people are outraged enough to want to do this. The sean bell killing was not right but the straw that broke the camels back was that the Cops who did it got off scot free. No justice, no peace.
