I'd vote for any ticket that had Colin Powell on it. Actually, I think it might benefit Barack to play VP to Mr. Powell's President for a few years to gain more experience at that level. However, Powell has already shown his high level of intelligence and integrity by saying that he would not run for President because of what the dirt digging would do to his family. Remember that scene in the movie Gladiator where the aging emperor tries to pass the throne to Maximus. Maximus humbly refuses and the emperor tells him something along the lines of, "And that's exactly why you should be emperor." I think the same can be said for Colin Powell. I'd probably vote for Colin Powell above every candidate in this election, the 2004 election, the 2000 election, the 1996 and 98 election. Truthfully he should be and should have been years ago the first black president. If the Republicans had been smart they definitely should have had him on the ticket rather than Bob Dole and there probably would have only been one Clinton term.
