40 years ago today MLK was shot outside of the Lorraine Hotel in Memphis, TN. Sadly, our nation has yet to recover. I know most folks don't care. But we can't be afraid to pick up the baton and keep running. Listen to his last speech; become inspired; change the world.
I am in Memphis today to celebrate with thousands of concerned citizens. If you are down here come holla at your boy at the convention center.

John McCain was opposed to establishing the King holiday, by the way.
I'll try to make it later on. Is there a certain time the ceremonies start? I know they are already marching this morning.
If Martin Luther King Jr rise for the dead, I don't think he would like what he see. He would see that African Americans made some progress but it's not that many leader who would stand up and be fearless.
