I understand Obama's situation.Hilliary from what i gathered from the debates, was beating a dead horse! The Rev.Wright situation didn't even dent Obama's campaign and she was still trying to make it a relevant issue!

She plays dirty and Obama isn't about that! She has (waaay) more "dirt" on her than him and his campaign still hasn't stooped to dirty politics.

No one cares about "trivial issues" like he said.We want to know about "real issues" such as how they plan to fix this economy,jobs, gas prices, Iraq, New Orleans, etc...

Hilliary has lost and she should just throw in the towel but she's hasn't and doesn't plan on doing so! She's just going to play "spoiler" for Obama and not gracefully bow out,which will drag the race on until the Democratic party national convention, and then when she finally looses, it will be damn near too late for Obama to catch up with McCain who is already has a head start.

It might a little easier to "focus on the issues" if Obama would take a clear stance on the issues and state exactly what is it he plans to do. I've watched the majority of the debates and I only have a vague idea of what Obama plans to do once he gets in office. It's one thing to tell people what you want to do, but I need to hear how he plans to do those things. Congress isn't going to submit to Obama just because he's president. There are no Jedi mind tricks on Capital Hill. Hillary Clinton has stated several time how she plans to turn our economy around and how she plans to end this war. Hate her if you want to, but she's put her plans on the table. If she's able to achieve a faction of things she has planned, I don't have problem with her methods of getting in the white house. If Obama can't deal with the pressure from Clinton, what is he gonna do when McCain comes down hard? Don't delude yourself to believe that McCain's attacks won't make any difference. The general election is a whole different ball game. The favoritism for Obama in the media will soon fade. From where I'm sitting, I don't think he'll handle that well. The bottom line is people are in need. It doesn't matter how the game is played. This country as a whole needs to win. We can't afford to gamble with right now.

I watched a dvd about the weathermen (thanks biko) several years ago and I thought that they were off the chain. Instead of talking about Obama's relationship with Bill Ayers talk about why the group (weathermen) was formed and how the United States Gov. murdered black leaders (king,fred,medgar,) and illegaly wiretapped king,X,panthers in fear of a Black (Wallstreet) Nation within a naition. It is really beyond stupid to even say that Ayers was a "terrorist". There is a normal definition of a terrorist -- not in international law but domestic -- and he does not fit it. Ayers, and the Weather Underground bombed US government targets, but they NEVER killed, or even injured anyone except for themselves. They INTENTIONALLY did not hurt anyone. To be a terrorist you have to attempt to kill, or maim, people for political coercion and they did not do that.

Then to say Obama has "ties" to him is ridiculous. The man is a professor in Chicago, and a popular community activist. This man hasn't even taken part in radical politics since the 1970's. And Obama and him sat on a board together. You are insinuating that they were out scheming about planting bombs together, or that this man is some danger to society.

Then if you want to get serious, why not mention Bush's meetings with the Taliban in the late 90's? Or Hillary's husband pardoning people who were convicted in Weather Underground bombings? Or McCain's active personal participation in carpet bombing defenseless Vietnamese villages?

These are all distraction from real issues and if you want to use Fox News talking points in a debate nobody is going to take you seriously.

Bottom line, it's trivial for us to be talking about Brotha Barack's "shady" associations. Most of you have CLEARLY made up your minds to vote for Brotha Barack. But this subject does mean something to undecided voters, voters on the fence one way or the other, WHITE voters who are thinking about voting for a BLACK man, and voters who think past associations count for something. Like I said before, don't get mad at me because Brotha Barack, as the days go by, is looking more and more like a common politician. Instead of Brotha Barack side-stepping his past and current associations, he should have just got as far away as possible from these people.

When I look at the Obama machine, I see a machine that has major problems. I truly think that Brotha Barack is handing the presidency to McCain on a silver platter. Instead of getting mad at me, maybe you should try to contact Brotha Barack and offer him some political advice.
