Over the last several weeks there have been numerous articles and studies that have highlighted that the youth vote (18-35) turnout is at an all time high. However, what's not being reported is that voters that do not have any college experience are not turning out to the polls. For example, on Super Tuesday 1 in 4 college educated youth turned out, while only 1 in 14 non college youth made it to the voting booth. (CIRCLE) The sad thing is that the people that most need to turn out to vote aren't doing so. Hopefully all the folks that talk S#$t on this page will get their people to turn out in November.

My 1st year voting but it still feels tainted. I cant help but feel like they already chose Hillary even tho Barack is in the lead. Lookout for this Super delegate shit
most of the non-college youth of today scare me, not so much in a "shook" type way, but in a "the future looks dim" kinda way......
they are so uninformed, and you don't need a College education to acquire knowledge past standard schooling.......
it's just that alot of em don't have any aspirations of learning unless it's being dictated to them and thats where alot of our inner-city stagnation stems from 2day, the fact many are uninspired to progress..... and i guess it's reflecting in the election demographics......
When you hear all day everyday that YOUR VOTE DON'T REAALY COUNT, or "SO-AND-SO" STOLE THE ELECTION, the UNEDUMUCATED person might just stay away from the polls. Especially in this race, where it's almost common knowledge that the CLINTONS will certainly cause a damn-near riot when they somehow manage to take the nomination from Brotha Barack.

The hustling phenomenon and other illusions of being able to make it without an education seems to be more appealing to our urban kids today.
In addition, we have full grown adults, parents, and elders who are serious skeptics. Who somehow beleive that their vote doesn't matter. In some cases, this is what's being passed on to the kids. No one with any real infuential power is taking the time to explain the process and point out the value of the voting process. Somewhere along the line we have confused progress with victory and dropped the ball. Solving a lot of these issues really begins at home.
70% of people with degrees work in a different field. 90% are in debt that can't pay back even if that get that "dream" job. You can have collage, I make more than most of the people with degress that I went to high school with. For the record I only vote local and state. If your vote counted so much than why was Bush allowed to double up (R. Kelly style) in the White house and drive the economy into a recession? Most of you "college youth" don't even know what constitutes a recession. I'll spare you the embarrassment. It's two consecutive negative quarters. If I did vote it would be for Obama strictly off of the strength of him being a black man. I need no other reason, I have the "right" to make it do what it do how I see fit. If Obama wasn't running than it would be Ron Paul all day. One last thing, most people that don't vote know why they don't vote. While most people that do vote don't know why they vote and don't understand the voting process.

I was at the book store putting together a package for a client when the man that works there approached me. He was asking me for a job and before I could reply he (like many of you) said "I'm a collage graduate". I politely smiled and said I'm sorry sir have a great day.
...because they have a candidate they can believe in!!!!
BARAK 4 President in 08!!!!!
@ Buddy Rowe... The reason Bush got to roll twice is because not enough people, who talk about how bad things are, actually voted. All analysis of the past election showed that evangelicals really showed up after they made the gay marriage thing an issue and historically a President has never been voted out when a war is on going. It's just never happened. Also, the youth were outweighed by the people who didn't buy into Kerry after he was Swift Boated. He was not the strongest candidate. This years different. Obama's a very strong candidate. Probably most charismatic we've seen in generations. Hard to deny. There's much more to him than that he's black. That's the least of it, just icing on the cake when you learn more about him. It is nice to hear him understand what we go through though. But know that he's not just giving us a pass. He always talks about responsibility and where we as a people need to be more accountable for our success or failure. I really encourage you to check him and the other candidates out and consider voting Nationally this time around. We don't want another Bush repeat cause too few really voted this year all over again. I often feel you have no room to complain unless you vote.
Also, I agree, sometimes people are too pretentious wearing their education as a badge, but that's what people have been taught for decades. Hard to blame them for exercising what they were taught would take u=you further in life. I went to school too, but I know it doesn't mean I'm smarter than everybody else. Some of the richest and smartest people in America never graduated college or high school. And most people just get in debt when they go to school. They have no idea what they want to do. That's a problem as well and has only added to our financial hardships. It's a game how they pushed the importance of college on people all to get more money from the people. Education is great if you know what you want, but it doesn't guarentee anything.
If you dont vote dont talk ish when you money start looking low b/c of the bs govt or your a$$ get shipped outta here. Sean G has spoken...lol
