  • I bought the album yesterday and it's typical Talib. An emcee with somthing to say. If you're looking for a rapper who talks about nothing then steer clear, but if you appreciate real hip-hop and substance, then cop it and enjoy!!

  • Talib Kweli along with other prestige Emcee's are not respected amongst todays youth its really sad. Theese kids now a days dont even know who Rakim is, personally that pisses me off.
Talib Kweli Is one of my top ten Emcees. I would never stop listning to him. His New album is tight, but theese young kids dont seem to see that. This is givin props to all the real emcees Mos Def, KRS-1, Nas, 2pac, BiG, Pun, Big L, Talib, Rakim, Eminem, Lil Weezy, Chamillion, Pete Rock & C.L Smooth, Buckshot, Wu-Tang, Masta Ace, Kanye West, The Game, Terminalogy, Dr.dre, easy-e, snoop dogg, DMX, busta, mims, cassidy, shyne, The Lox, Fabolous, murs, Jurassic 5, jeezy and i know they aint a rappers but Dj Premo, 9th wonder, Alchemist, j.dilla, hi-tek, and pete Rock are the best producers of the game as well but yeah props to all the real emcees with real talent not t-pain pretty ricky ja-rule or any of those other faggets who try to hard to be somethin and talk about some other shit that dont matter.

  • YAMAMMY...Brit is talented ask Timberland. hahaha... okay maybe not. It would just be nice to NOT see JT on every hip hop album. He is not hip hop, he puts out some good shit, but damn Talib could have used Ginuwine or Chris Brown. I am thinking by the line about Brit and Beyonce he meant less pop and more soul in the music.

  • Whomever said we need Reflection Eternal 2 was so on point. Kweli even rapped about how cats are saying he needs to stick with Hi-Tek. Reflection Eternal is in my top 5 albums of all time. Eardrum is Kweli's third best after Reflection and Blackstar. Finally, the beats are consistent for an entire album. And yes, the word wizzard Kweli does a better job of staying with the beat throughout. Regardless, you are seeing one of, if not the, best lyricist in the game, and he actually uses intelligent word choice and complex ideas. I like thinking lyricists. Don't dumb down for you audience to double your dollars. Keep making hot music for appreciative fans like me. Unfortunately, your art is too pure for the masses, much like Prince. They just don't understand and that is why I love it!
