His album only been out 3 weeks so it hasnt flopped officially but it's gonna flop. Mostly because the corny ass neptunes had no idea how to make a proper album with him. There's one track on the cd i like, the rest is pretty mediocre. I heard him call himself the boss, but never herd that chief of police and boys in blue shit.

if ya had the cd "bird" you would see that #5 is boyz in blue. if ya heard "like a boss" he says "i'm the chief of police who got the keys to the streets." in still tippin' video he has a piece that's shape like a police badge on his chain. and this corny nigga have a mixtape where he's on da cover with a police badge tatoo on his forearm. corny!

Please read my post, reread it again, a few times might be helpful. Please point out where I said something was a "Fact". All I said was "I never heard him say or claim something" I never said "He says or dosn't say something" You see , theres a big difference there. If I said, "Hey he doesn't call himself this or that" then I would understand your hostile tone, but I didn't. Next time, pay attention before you post because it makes you look ignorant.

and in case ya didn't know bird , there is a big difference between listening to a cd and runnin' or skippin' through a cd.

The ones saying Slim Thug is "wantin to be the police" clearly didn't listen to that part of the album. He's saying that him and his crew run the streets, and that the cops aren't the true authority in his 'hood. He took a common concept used in gangsta/thug shit and -- unintentionally probably -- made a relevant point with it. Think about it: authority without respect is fleeting, and who do the folks in those kind of neighborhoods respect?

Slim Thug's album is one of my favorites. And that's coming from someone who owns albums from people like Aesop Rock, MF Doom, Atmosphere, etc. Ponder that for a moment.
