Jermaine Dupri: Cafe Dupri

The cafe is something that has always been on my mind. I've always felt that Atlanta should be one of those place that operates on the level of a big city and should never lack anything. So, eating wise I wanted to put a place in Atlanta where people could eat healthy.

There's a lot of junk and trash on the market. You know if you don't watch what what you eat it'll mess you up, so I wanted to show people in Atlanta that there's more to good eating than just soul food. And I did it for selfish reasons in a way because I needed to eat healthy.

    Exactly, you don't have shit!!!

While you are worrying about who "exudes" an Entrepreneur spirit, you are too busy spreading your own spirit "HATRED"....

So it seems that you are a hateful lowlife with nothing to do, but E-Thug and E-Hate and Jermaine is running a restaraunt..... And doing other big shit....

Let's put you on the line and put you in the limelight and analyze your dumbass and see how many comments we get about you.

  • Dear J.D.'s online security blog watcher guy. How much does he pay you to call everyone who questions him here HATERS? 7, 8 an hour?

Would I then be a "hater" if i hated the way industry cats with millions in the bank are so lazy that they jack beats from people who hand them demos?

The HATER from lollipop made some valid points. If JD's resorted to jackin beats from unknown underground heads, his music career IS washed up. Talkin about a place to eat healthy. Try one of my nutsack shakes Jermaine!

Rich aint shit! can't wait for your reply internet security blog watcher 8 an hour punk with nothin to do besides defend your MAN! haha run'tell'thAT

  • I am really shocked by the mean spirit attacks via your comments. It's absolutely depressing to find so many young black people "hating" instead of trying to make a positive contribution to the community.

  • Dear Mr. Dupri:

During the recent First Annual Saute TV Wine & Food Festival held in Atlanta, Georgia on August 21, 2005, I had the pleasure of conversing with one of your Sous Chefs regarding the Snapper dish that Cafe Dupri was proffering to the patrons of the festival. I, The Creole Gourmet, was also a Chef at the event, offering traditional authentic New Orleans Creole cuisine, together with Nouvelle Creole dishes. Originally from New Orleans, I relocated to Atlanta some four years ago, and am residing in the Sandy Springs area. After earning a law degree and Ph.D., I am now pursuing my true passions by utilizing my natural talents as an Executive Chef.

Since the Festival, aside from being inundated with food events and public relations, I have become very proactive in Saute's mission relative to developing and producing a television forum for ethnic chefs, one that is not currently equitably afforded to our chefs by national or local television programming venues, and I am working diligently with Producer, Milton Watkins towards the end of achieving this goal. The program, which would rival the Food Network, would feature local ethnic chefs, such as your Executive Chef, Chris, and myself, as well as Chefs from other international venues.

I write to you, Mr. Dupri, in the hopes that you might somehow be amenable to assisting us to further our efforts towards the end of effecting a new television broadcast and forum for ethnic chefs, especially upon considering your recent ventures within the restaurant industry, and your publicly expressed interest in further entrepreneurial expanding. We have presented our vision to the Black Family Network, and have open sponsorship considerations from such corporations as Reebok, Price Waterhouse, and Kraft Foods. Your endorsement and support, Mr. Dupri, in whatever form, would be the dynamics that we need to successfully achieve our goal.

I would respectfully request, upon review and consideration of this writing, and your schedule permitting, that you or a member of your staff contact me so that we might schedule a meeting, at which time we can outline in greater detail our plans and goals, and discuss how you might possibly assist us in developing this forum in a venture that would not only be mutually profitable for us, but for seasoned and up-and-coming ethnic chefs alike. I graciously urge you to email me at signalleon@aol.com.

Looking forward to hearing from you soon with a favorable response to this communication, and thanking you for any and all consideration afforded in this matter, I am

    Sincerely,

    Dr. Claudia Signal Leon
    Executive Chef
    "The Creole Gourmet"
