Hip Hop High School: Music: DJ Unk, Geto Boys & Sammie Sam

7 a.m.: DJ Unk

Unk's got a new single "Show Out," but I wanted to turn back to an Oomp Camp classic wit Baby D on it. Oomp Camp has put out quality dance music for quite some time now. This is the family reunion music for the kids and adults that came up on and understand International dance music. Oomp Camp Started out with acts like the one and only Hitman Sammie Sam.

But Atliens know the more gentler side of the Hitman.

Well the world is a place where people do things based on their education of self and their environment and its relation to the world's progress. Music has so many different uses and angles from which it can be utilized. To relax, to program, to lead a cult of unaware followers, to hype up, to inform, to entertain, to make fun of, to warn, to blah blah blah. So videos like these next ones are affected by music media and music media will be affected by us seeing this. Being influenced, in what direction do we chose to comprehend and filter what we see. Those we come in contact with everyday are now more and more being affected by those we interact with indirectly and directly from the Internet.

So am I suppose to be mad. Some of the jokes were down right funny. But the biggest laugh is on these young ladies being so behind and uninformed of the evolution of the black community. And Shaquisha Jankins and Bonisha Bottoms are a part of that evolution. We can't help it if a few of these women addicted to weave and nails. The greatest laugh is that this same thought can be applied to the fellas and so called gangstas talkin' tough on the Internet. The face you made when you watch the young white girls is the same face you make every once in a while when checkin out the latest rap beef on the net. Now hold on tight. Take a deep breathe and...

Well, well, well, what the hell does this have to do with hip-hop. Well, I agree and disagree with this lady on several issues. But the Internet is on the verge of going where it has never been before. Black and white Internet American reality will be at an all time high. I posted one of the wackest post in history last week on Obama. My relevant point of view was entangled in the false information I feed myself ( I blame no one, I was irresponsible) and even though blogging seems like no big deal you just type your opinion, it's a little more complex than that. The world just got a lil' bigger because I pay attention to a good bit of stuff on the Internet. And for those of you who watch the on going Internet reality show called Hip-Hop get ready. The world as we know it and the hip-hop world as we know it are about to collide and combine. The huge undercurrent of the future will reshape and shatter dreams of some of our biggest stars, consumers and bloggers. How do we feel once we wake up and realize some of our biggest inspirations are hologram slaves?

Our second season is starting. Andre 3000 said the South has something to say! What he didn't say is we got something to say, we got something to do, half us don't even know, like Farrakhan said " When the black man in the South wakes up." Well the sh*t is hitting the fan. I think the recent events in hip-hop have awakened the giant killers. Man this blogging to me is starting to be like Pinball with 78 red trigger buttons.

So the south has for the last 4 years been the scapegoat for hip-hop's internal punching bag. Everybody running their mouth and basically displaying what knowledge they truly have about what's happening. I blog and wanna just say, I don't say shit sometimes to throw a particular party off because I don't wanna see nobody get hurt and I know we make a difference. I get true feedback from you all. In real life a brother has seen enough. So replays can only be funny or sad. And to be honest most of the time its both. There is humor in funerals you just have to have and open mind and a will to understand what must be must be. I've had 2 post on this blog that I would redo only because I feel my points were thrown up under a tone of anger that didn't really bring justice to my thoughts. I was trigger happy. Not smart. The communication level was poor and could have resulted in ignorant actions. Lesson learned. However 2009 I feeeeeel like...

It is what it is. You motherf*ckers done lost ya mind. I now know what rappers feel like now when they say miss me with that rap shit. Let me be one of the first to say. Miss me with that Blog shit. God Bless ya or check ya. Tommorrow mixtape rundown!
