Devin The Dude

Words of the week: Working for peace! Both parties in the minor incident that happened at the Dirty Awards are pushing towards peace. You keep emailing me and that is what it is. We wish every label out here that caters to, does business with, provides, and is inspired for greatness by these rappers, all of them including you dum azz. In the pursuit of men growing in public view. From coast to coast.

In the pursuit of men growing in public view. From coast to coast. Everything is not going to be alright all the time. But our attitude towards things determine what comes out of these situations. Are we all each others brothers keeper? Do you not wish the best on all of these young men. Can't you see what they are doing. Don't allow the Media or anyone to turn us against each other Numnuttz. Each step taken by anyone in Entertainment should sharpen the others mind. (guy stands up in the back, PLAY THE DAM MUSIC!)

Alfamega

Wow, so where do I start. Well the Dirty Awards went down this year and this being the Internet you all know the story by now. And I know you looking for the scoop, but let's just say I see, speak, and hear no evil. First our prayers go out to both the Grand Hustle family and the D4L family. I get down with all these dudes and just like the Mike Jones/Trae situation there is no winner in a situation like this. I really wish they could have just meet up in an alley and got it on so that it could be finished. The Dirty Awards is a pretty well planned event and this year was no different. I guess I'll take this time out also to warn future award shows of what they can do to prevent this in the future.

Ugghhhh ( in E-40's voice) Let's kick it off like this. No need to state the obvious at this point. (In DJ Khaled's voice) "We the Best!"

Soulja Boy

Could it be that Soulja Boy is one of those kids who just speaks from the gut. I'll follow up on this especially about the slavery comment because it could be a direct thought based America's education system. After all Christopher Columbus discovered America right? And no that's no excuse that's just up for consideration. Merely another perspective. What's yours? Honestly you have not one young cousin in your family that acts and says sh*t just like him. Somebody email somebody and remind them.

Chingo Bling

Now if you don't know Chingo Bling, you will soon enough. Chingo is a marketing giant. He also sells boots, tamales, bobblehead dolls, and anything else that can fit the name Chingo Bling on. Well the Bay Area Buddy, Haji Springer, has been building an unstoppable buzz. Let the Party begin!

Chamillionaire

Chamillitary mayne, brah you ain't gotta stop. You just got to put it in they face what it is that made you you. That funk we call screw. The part of the culture of hip-hop, that hip-hop don't want to accept because of what a few crash dummy's say.......I know you not gonna play that song....... shiiiiiiiiie.

Gangsta Pat

Mayne ya really just ain't ready. Gangsta Pat is one of Memphis' many reality rap pioneers. This was '91 with Atlantic.

Can it be that Bill O'Reilly got so upset at the new Ludacris song that he lashed out at one of our favorite hip-hop websites.

Yeah that's how the original goes. UNLV - Uptown N*ggas Living Violent - Songs like "GO DJ" show how Louisiana artists transcend Hip Hop. Or wait let me explain.

Slim Thug

Slim Thug is pushing forward with Koch. Back by Blockular Demand is still doing its thing in the streets. And now Slim releases a new single for all you street runners. It's been 3 yrs since Slim released an album. But this might prove to be perfect timing. If anything Slim now knows what works and what doesn't. Before I get to his new single, I gotta run this "Living Without." This song definitley should have been a single with video. (in your deep voice) This should be played at high volume.

Lil' Wayne - Dedication 3

Mixtapes are still the bloodline of rap music. The DJ killed the radio star, well almost.

7 a.m.: DJ Unk

Barack and Michelle Obama

Well well well we finally made it over yonder. Congratulations! In celebration of the Obamas win, DJ Jerry Curl Jones has a record he wants to play in dedication to the family... and to all the ladies out there.

Obama Crowd

Today is the first day of your life. Well that's how the TV is going to make you feel. I really can't type what I want to today because it is what it is.

Shakir Stewart

Hurt is the only word that comes to mind when I heard about Shakir. To everyone that's just a fan of this site and not in the industry Shakir was huge because he was one of us. I speak for any black male you see working in this industry that is not an entertainer and is more on the business end. We all saw our self in Shake. He was a very focused individual.
