Now maybe its me, but I think we have reached a point in hip-hop where we have this great big variety of music to choose from. All we gotta do is organize it.

What's funny right now is all the tough guys in hip-hop are mad at all the party starters. When their comments should be directed towards the system. The system should be the ones to balance things out. We need every form of hip-hop out there to move where we trying to move. A lot of history has been left out, but that has nothing to do with the future that needs room to grow.

Don't you feel good about the Philly movement? Don't you love the Detroit movement? Don't you enjoy Dallas and what they have going? Aren't you loving knowing that you about to get a new Jadakiss album? Didn't you feel good when you hear Glasses Malone and Mack 10?

All of these movements co-depend on each other to keep the ship moving. Let us not forget that as we go forward into the new year. Let us not be tricked by stupid ass journalists, asking dumb ass set up questions to make us down our brothers choice of musical taste.

It's like if I bring you on my radio show I can A) ask you more about your movement and all the wonderful things you have going on. Taking that entire hour to really give the depth of what that movement brings to the whole. Or B) start off lite then go into a series of questions about what's f*cked up about the music industry forcing you to have to talk about what the next man is doing before getting around to what you are doing.

What do you guys think? Do we have the wrong perspective on music? Are we being trapped and set up to go at each others heads?

In the meantime I was trying think of something that was light, yet moved the people when it comes to old school hip-hop the same way some of this hip hop dance music is doing. Just to show that this ain't new yet, these kids and adults that make dance music got there own lane. Watch the vids and tell me what you think. First up is Rob Base and DJ EZ Rock.

Rob Base and DJ EZ Rock

Following is the new DJ Unk which happens to have the same type of feel. Whats the difference? I see none. Am I blind?

Just a lil' history. Check out Greg Street of ATL back in the day.
Dallas where you at? Here you can see the influence of the west coast heavy in our life. Which really they all from the south so its a giant circle that none of the rappers are willing to come to grips with.
