DG Yola

What up wit ya? Some of you see what I'm attempting to do with this opportunity SOHH has given me and I appreciate the emails. You really understand where I'm going with all this. I may not do the typical Jerry Springer style blogger, but I do have confidence that I may be on the verge of being a part of the balance in giving you the true depth of the Southern hip hop voice. I say that lightly because without each and every other Southern publication my voice ain't shit. In the words of Derrty Ent. We All We Got (damn i gotta get back to the lou).

The worst thing about being a rapper has to be the fact that once you get the ball rollin', you have to put aside things that normally would have gotten you in trouble. Problem is as your going through your transitional stage you still present yourself as a strong force in the community. And while you are sleep, a hater is listening to your music and just waiting on the opportunity to prove any one of your lyrics to be false. At the same time you also are now entering the world wrestling federation, I'm sorry I meant the world of entertainment. There is so much to learn when stepping on the field. Yes this game sometimes is a contact sport. Well one guy who I got a chance to watch go threw this first hand is DG Yola from ATL. Here's a flashback of an update shortly after being shot and in the recovery process.

Well now he's back with a new single that's been growing from the clubs of the A to the Carolina's. And it's not the typical of Yola from Allen Temple with them powder packs. This is the Allen Temple Worldwide Yola. Well you be the judge and tell me.

Yes yes yes, we now interrupt this program to give you some words of wisdom from one of the greatest MC's of 2009, Mr. Killa Kill from Adamsville. Man he speaks on the false profits -- and in rap we have a bunch of them. You just got to read between the lines. Sh*t, I wonder sometimes, do they (rappers and actors) even know what they are doing when they rep the devils so hard? I be like damn homie, I hope you know what ya doin'?

Wrote a song about it! Wanna hear it. Hear it goes!

As the anticipation builds for the new Scarface album which is destine to be one of the best out this year. Let us rewind.

In this music biz you really have to watch the people you deal with. Opportunists are running around at an all time high. The real always rise in the end and I guest that's why these legends are still around. Now this is classic Southern hip-hop. No "Snap and Dance" here. Just straight game. What you know about Mac Mall and Big Mike. Listen to this song with your best ears. Don't want no busters around me playa hatin' or actin' fake! Chuch!

That shit will be relevant and timeless even in 2025. Speaking of timeless. The Outlawz come threw with a banger! With a worldwide fanbase the Outlawz continue to take their legacy higher. What else did you expect, this is the Outlawz fool.

Have a good weekend. But before you do, turn the volume sky high and then press play and turn on your work intercom. Now go find the hottest chick in the building. This maybe the one for SG. I know , I know . You like the one? The dude got a million hits. Yeah Yeah but this one might be his breakout one. I don't know maybe its me but its different and got that vibe that says woman take it off! Let the hair down. Now do that lil' thang you do. Ahhhhhhh Sh*t! Get it. Get it. Get it.

See ya next week.
