Damn life is like a seesaw at times. Up and down, up and down. That's how were going to feel as rap fans for a while. You can't help but be happy when the good times roll in and say a prayer when they go and do crazy shit. Here's the latest update on the good and bad in the Dirty:
Congrats to DJ Khaled. There has not been a DJ to be more vocal about his movement of his city or state than Khaled lately. Mr. We Da Best has truly made himself a household name.
From SOHH News
Southern rapper Webbie has posted $25,000 bail after his arrest in Mississippi, stemming from a high-speed car chase with authorities. According to Louisiana's Daily Review, police took down the Baton Rouge-raised emcee when they attempted to pull him over for a traffic violation on Sunday (September 14). Once obtained, Webbie was charged with eluding an officer -which is a felony- driving while under the influence of alcohol and aggravated assault.
Damn, it is what it is. We can just be happy no one got seriously injured. Things like this happen and hopefully it will turn into a positive experience for Webbie in life. You know how things like this help you curb your appetite for that fast life. I'm quite sure he will be ok and Trill Fam will do there best to support him during this rocky moment in his life.
And on to Gucci Mane.

ATLANTA -- A judge revoked part of Atlanta rapper Gucci Mane's probation Friday. The rapper, whose real name is Radric Davis, was handcuffed and taken to jail after prosecutors complained he had only completed 25 hours of the 600 hours of community service he was ordered to perform. The judge said judging by his record, Davis was not a worthy candidate for probation so he ended some of the rapper's probation and sent him to jail. "Mr. Davis, I'm going to revoke one year," said Fulton County Superior Court Judge John Goger. Goger decided to revoke one year of 28-year-old Davis' three and a half years of probation on an assault charge. That means the rapper will have to serve that one year in jail. Gucci Mane was convicted of hitting a promoter in the head with a pool cue.
Ok let's end on a high note. Congrats to Lil' Wayne fr his 12 nominations for the BET Hip-Hop Awards. Also Weezy, just re-signed with Cash Money.
...the partnership between Cash Money and Lil Wayne will continue, with a multi-album pact that takes them into the future together.
It will be quite interesting watching others in the industry adjust to what Wayne is capable of. I spoke of it earlier in the year. You are watching raps Louis Armstrong. He won't run out of music in his head. And the more he sees and experiences, whoa. I don't think y'all ready for 2009. It's obvious he is playing with the game right now. Here's a new one just in case you haven't seen it.
