A great deal of you have tried to write him off as a ring tone artist. What that really let's us know is that you have no clue what is in your face. Flo Rida is classic Florida.

Flo Rida is classic Florida. If you listen closely dude be spittin. He has a lane all to his own right now. And it's the perfect example of how many lanes of opportunity and music that are truly in hip-hop. Go to one of his shows and you can see who actually appreciates the Miami dance sound. He along with others brought it back, right up under our noses.

Sometimes we get so caught up in the charts and crap, that we tend to forget that hip hop is like jazz. It will take any form at anytime. At some point in time someone or station will start covering all of these movements for what they are. A good example would be Snap music.

Snap music is nothing but a waltz with a little extra bounce to it. The timing not the dance knucklehead. My point is, it's just as relevant in music as anything else. But if we don't cover it from the right angle then we miss the point of what's going on. If we keep listening to what other people say about our music and our culture we will find ourselves looking at others legacy as if its higher or greater when actually it's no better. No different than what America has done to true black history.

Example. A friend of mine tells me Jay-Z is the greatest. I say bullsh*t. I tell him he's cool, but I can't put Jay above Scarface, Ice Cube, or E40. Just my opinion, f*ck it let's be honest that's a lot of people's opinion. Now some of you got the same look on your face that he had. But in reality dude, you have a right to your pride. But that has nothing to do with the relevance of my thoughts. And when you look at who controls the media and all of the black entertainers of the past and present, there is a pattern that is becoming more visible. Motown was placed higher than Stax for a very deliberate reason. Its also the reason you don't see huge stories about the success of Tyler Perry beating out Robert DeNiro and the gang at the box office. But the people know the truth. It will be interesting now that we have the Internet to see how all this plays out. I'll touch on this more in the future, but I figure that's enough for you to be cursing me for a while.

And to everyone that has a problem with them statements, here ya go.

Before T.I. and Shawty Lo put bankhead on the map. There was D Rock from Ying Yang Twins.

And many more said Bankhead loud and proud so don't send me no email about this. I'm just jogging your memory.

I wonder where will the Infamous Bowden Holmes be in 3yrs.
