New Young Jeezy For The Holiday Cheer, Shoutout To My Peoples Weathering The Storm, Hold Tight!

Youngjeezy

Ah, I know today everybody's chillin, so while you are caught up in the holiday here's some new cuts off Jeezy's Recession album. To all my peeps in the storm, hold tight you know it will pass through, and life will be back to normal. Be safe.

Once again Memphis does what they do. When this track came on I was trying to figure out what was special about it. I just knew it was jammin but it was simple and just had that raw feeling. Then I read the credits and realized why. None other than one of Memphis pioneering producers, DJ Squeeky was behind it. What!? Man ya'll late. I'll follow up with Squeeky later in the week or next week to see how that came about. Just go watch some old gangsta walk footage and you'll see what inspired this track.

Perhaps one of my favorite phrases on the album. It's classic Jeezy. It aint what you say. Its how you say it.

Why you keep sayin yeeeeaaah,

I don't even know,

I got court tomorrow

I don't even go,

I don't even show.

I got shit to do.

Only god can judge me

Who the f*ck are you.

Shawty Redd is one of the most underrated producers in the game. He gave you Snoop's "Sensual Seduction" so you know he has that side. But the side that made him famous to the streets would be this one. "Who Dat" is one of those "Let's Get It" anthems. You gotta see this song a month from now deep off in the club packed wit Black T's, preferably the strip club to keep it balanced. Money in the air, yac being tossed back, ole boy just finish rollin, light up and let's party. I know that's a lil too much for some but hey, have another drink you'll be ok. Let's go!

Now this song right herrrre. This will be the sleeper of the album. "Don't Know You" Midnight Black produced the track.  If you don't know Black by now you will in a minute.

Cash Money Flashback!
