What up people, hope all is well on that side of the screen. We all talk about balance, well here he is. Virginia continues to give us flawless music through one of their best kept secrets Skillz.

This past Saturday morning at about 11am everybody in the hood was making them last minute adjustments to their rides. Football season is here and with that comes the festivities. What would those football games be without the unofficial car shows. Here are a couple of tunes to get you in the mood.

Man let me explain something to all you motherf*ckers. A lot of you are making all these stupid ass comments because of your lack of knowledge on culture. We don't owe you sh*t! HIP-HOP is for everyone around the world period. We all are creating it. You created a title and can have that sh*t back at any time. You don't own music. Them samples you were scratchin with came from southern drummers, check the credits and labels. I don't even want to get started on that sh*t. Well, actually I do.

Tony Draper and Cube Drop new video for one of the best songs from Raw footage. Ice Cube always has quality music. But the balance in this album makes you think heavy. If you don't have the new Ice Cube you really are missing out.

One time for all my screw heads out there! Mane the other day I get to talking with one of my colleagues and this fool gonna tell me, "Screw music was like Snap music it came in and fell off". I burst into laughter and said mane you really have no idea what you saying. I was gonna ask him when's the last time he went to Texas. But then I thought, its better that I show you than tell you.

Yeah I said it because I'm disappointed and not surprised. I don't understand why everyone has let the fact that Tyler Perry's latest film was a huge success pass them by. I don't see the support that should be there from all media not just black. We talking about the same man who went back to work at Popeye's chicken for a while to re up on his capitol. Five out of six of Perry's films have opened at No. 1 or No. 2 on their opening weekends. So at what point do you see the greatness.

Right now there are a few albums that have the street buzz that will stick. But how many of these albums will show up on the charts to truly represent the streets choice. Slim Thug and Boss Hogg Outlaws Serve and Collect 2 is killing the streets and spreading across the South. Young Jeezy is banging out of every box Chevy past the Mason Dixon.

The legendary Devin the Dude takes to the road on a 30 plus city tour. Talking about well deserved. If you can don't miss it. Devin is one of Hip-Hop's treasures and finally he might be on his way to claiming his spot in music. Devin's music does have a tremendous amount of smoky references but don't let that turn you away because his social commentary and storytelling ability are those that would rival anyone in the game. Here are the dates and a throwback just to get ya in the mood.

Big Boi and Bun B are classic G's.No time is greater than now in American history. We have the opportunity to shift the nation into a deliberate direction of change. But just in case you have been under a very large rock lately. Allow me to let two of our most distinguished gentleman from the South, Big Boi and Bun B to speak on the importance of your participation in this year's election.

A great deal of you have tried to write him off as a ring tone artist. What that really let's us know is that you have no clue what is in your face. Flo Rida is classic Florida.

There is no better way to start the week off than with that new Scarface feat. Lil' Wayne and Bun B. Got a little twist for ya'll today as my homie Greg Gates infiltrates the Dirty blog for a day.

It's Friday and I know ya ready for the weekend break. Grind Mode is out of Florida and this is one of their songs that's gonna go down as a South side classic. Real laid back, it's sure to float into winter even though it's a summertime song.

Congrats to Alfamega on the Busta Rhymes project. That's a really big honor right there. Busta is one of those cats I think we all consider to be a true legendary figure in the game. What Alfa and Busta can accomplish on an album together really is gonna surprise a lot of you. I told you before and you still probably can't see it, but it will sink in sooner or later. Until then here is a new video from Alfa:

The 5th annual "VH1 Hip-Hop Honors" will feature a few heavyweights from the South. Big Boi, Lil' Jon, Lil' Wayne, Scarface, and Bun B, will be alongside Biz Markie, DJ Kaos, Ghostface Killah, Kid Rock, MC Lyte, Q-Tip, Wyclef Jean, Cheech and Chong, and Sanaa Lathan when they pay homage at VH1's annual tribute to hip-hop.

With all this hoopla about who's going to produce the bulk of Jay-Z's next album, the anticipation for albums from Kanye West and Dr. Dre, I had to ask. If Timbo's not the best behind the boards, then who?

Since yesterday was so heavy. Let's take a lighter "higher" path today. Devin has a new CD on the way out and if you have any of his other classics you know he won't let us down. Here's the CD cover and a PSA from Devin for those that have been depressed lately with life.

This picture of Bun B at the Democratic National Convention says a lot. The greatest thing about hip-hop to me is the right of expression. The expectation that you will have a chance to express your views, regardless of if you're right or wrong.  The true independence and relentlessness of hip-hop, is something most people don't see because we look at the personal achievements or failures of artist. However, overall progress is here.

This upcoming weekend Buck will be hosting the first annual Tennessee Music Conference and Hip Hop Awards. Memphis heavyweight, DJ Freddy Hydro will be co-hosting with Cashville Tenn-a-key rapper. This is a much needed event for Tennessee. Memphis has long been one of the backbones for the Atlanta rap scene.
