Soulja Boy steps into CEO role pretty quickly. The beautiful thing about this is it shows the rest of the movement that goes along with what makes Soulja Boy relevant and key to this dance movement. Check out behind the scenes of the new video.

This new group the Show Stoppers are really making the Kid n Play type music of their generation. That's why if you are above 20-something and hating on these cats then you really are out of touch. When I went in the club a couple of months ago, just to see what the buzz was about, I found that a bunch of kids bouncing around to this dance music and if this shit isn't hip-hop I really don't know what is. I'm not saying this is the next big thing; all I'm saying is we need dance groups like this to keep a lane open for the kids of hip-hop to have their own lane.

David Banner also has a few words about the Soulja Boy debate.

Now I'm new at this blogging thing, but I'll just say my piece as a rookie anyway. Instead of posting up anything old thing and calling it news, the least you can do is label it a rumor when you don't have a credible source. I'm so throw'd by that. I'd rather just pay attention and see how we do in the future, because you know rappers are now and have been for quite some time targets. And the media is using rappers to paint the picture for all black men. And it isn't fair to either side.  What do y'all think?

And also enough with what these blind writers like SOHH Streetz are talking.  No the streets not, YOU are talking, so be honest and put ya name out there if you going to go at someone's personal image. (I guess this is the part of me that thinks this shit is getting corny.) How do you find joy in printing something that you don't know is true or not. That's wack. You affecting people. And at the end of the day white people can tear each other all day long in the tabloids but we just ain't got room for it down here. Just own up to your stories, that way if it's great reporting we can be like great job. But when its bullshit that's made up for sensational titles, then we can call it what it is. And you won't understand until it hits home.  I'm not even gonna blog on that Rick Ross story I'll just give you a link to one of my fellow Bloggers Mr, Jonathan Cunningham of the New Times of Broward-Palm Beach.  He was actually there. Read here.

And by the way the city has already let it be known to the Rick Ross camp that they want to do it again next year because it was a success for the kids. The incident had nothing to do with the event. So congratulations to the Rick Ross Charities.

Ok, one last thing to hold you over for the weekend. The Real Jay Dab and I went back and forth the other day on a few issues in Texas. With that I've decided to do a new section called Dirty Guest Blogger. I'll open up the space to anyone with something to say that's worth hearing. This dude has such valid points on what he's saying that I think all of Texas should spread the word on the net in each camp and make sure that every rapper out there reads this. Thank you Jay Dab, hey and The Sponsor also! Until next week!

Um Back!! Yo FLX!! I see you payed attention 2 my comments.. I thought some of it was irrelevant for some folk but at least you took note 2 some of the stuff I was saying.... Yeah I don't care for this bloggin' on the net but umma do this one last time for you and the others....Umma e-mail you and we can meet up in the "H" Northside or Southside it don't matter...

I will start off by saying this yeah I hear what you saying I guess I have issues with musik that is BS... As I said I came up thru the days of Ghetto Boyz, UGK, Fat Pat, Lil Keke, Big Moe, Slim,E.S.G. and the Whole S.U.C. and Swishahouse movement.....Why is it that most of the rappers from Houston die from drugs and violence...

1. DJ Screw - Sippin syrup

2. Fat Pat - Murdered killer unknown

3. Big Hawk - Murdered killer unknown

4. Big Moe - Sippin syrup, overweight

5. Pimp C – Unknown. Maybe syrup

6. B.G. Gator – Murdered

7. Big Steve – Murdered

8. Kruger - Killed himself

I could go on. Houston rap scene what does it mean? PLEASE TELL ME!!

I can't stand the fact that people glorify the drug life, jewelry game, sex, violence and etc.. Yeah I know I had some frustration in my comments but that's just me being bipolar towards musik that I feel is ruining black people in the world 2day. CNN Black in America pointed a lot of things out as well and they were in HOUSTON for some of it 2.

But to get to my case about Houston rappers they are full of shit. PERIOD!! Okay... I don't knock nobody hustle, they can make they money all day I don't care. It's the young youth that I see 2day who praises rappers who sip syrup, talk about guns and violence and really don't care about education or a brighter future. The percentage for dropout kids in the inner city HOUSTON "Black's" that is, at an all-time high, and also Mexican as well. I say this 2 point out that I know musik is somehow an option but at the same time these youngsters don't want 2 learn and don't care about their future. They rather continue with the same sh*t and be uneducated drive a old Buick or Cadillac with some swangers with loud musik, or probably not even that. They just don't care 2 do nothing and be sorry. I hear none of them trying 2 really motivate these youngsters 2 go 2 school 2 learn 2 explain about teen pregnancy and STD's and about how 2 not be a follower be a leader.

These cats don't care..... It's a money game and a party thing.... This HIP HOP Southern Rap is very powerful and I think we are not using it the right way in Houston. We went from not being heard 2 wanting 2 be heard. Try 2 understand what I am saying, yeah I came off wrong and I put some frustrating comments about a "Coon Reunion" yeah. Because when something happen or when a fight breaks out or somebody gets shot then they look at the Southern Rap Scene of OZONE Awards was the problem... I have no problem with having fun getting ideas etc.... But the Houston scene of rap needs 2 do better... Bun B shows a great image i luv dude and he is positive, he speaks the truth. Z-Ro I give him credit but nobody cares about being a Crip and King of the Ghetto... "Uplift it at least".....But the young immature crowd loves 2 gain style off of that... Slim Thug he is alright but just the name itself is full of shit. He isn't Slim anymore and these niggaz ain't thugs. Mostly 85% of the rappers from Houston have this macho wannabe thug type style and they are just lame. One day this will all play out and maybe the not so smart people will see what I am saying.

What can we do?

1. Put together more youth movements at schools for the youngsters. Some of the rappers are recognized and it starts with the middle school students because that's when they gain a personality.

2. Free events every now and then would be helpful.

3. Rap style of pushing weight, guns, sex etc, need 2 tone down.

4. Talk about how not 2 shoot and kill your brother over b*llshit.

5. Get more involved in the communities for special programs and cleaning up drugs, graffiti, etc.

6. Help the elderly.

Man FLX I can go on...

But the communities I am talking about 9x's out 10 are minority communities who have young youth who struggle for a direction and can't make it because of the shit they see everyday in the hood!!!

I am finished... I can type and go on but shit... I ain't no blogger I made my lil comments earlier and you noticed because you got low ratings or just it caught your eye... Well let me know how you feel if not I understand......HOLLA PIMP!!

Best wishes to Soulja Boy on that. Watching people flip out over his success is funnier than watching Hilary campaign for Obama (which is some very funny shit...)

I appreciate the mention Brother. You may well be the most intelligent and responsible blogger here. If nothing else, you've done something that many don't seem capable of - a full blog entry without typos! lol (That I RESPECT)

And so folks know, I may not live in the South, but I spent my formative years there. Louisiana to be exact. Texas, Tennessee, Georgia, South Carolina and Kentucky stand up!

Maybe you will take me up on my Drug-Free Week Challenge that I posed to Gyant. (He didn't even right me back, he just ignored me outright.)

I would like to see a showcase of talent for ONE entire week that features artists that do not talk about drug dealing or gangs. I think there is plenty of talent out there that fits the bill. But if the media support it - who will?

I would like just to step in give my view on the TX thing. I believe that his more then just the TX rap scene, growing up in TN you hear the drug references and thuggery message a lot. The only difference we have not lost anyone to it as TX has, but I believe that this nation wide issue that is bigger then hip hop. Every form music has some artist the appeal to the negative sides of life but the difference is that rap has abundance. Then look at it from this stand point why does rap have to clean up, so Hollywood can produce tons of violent images a year but hip hop gets the blame for the social ills. I think rap needs to go full circle with the music, but honestly who is to blame for the abundance of negativity. No matter how many little brother albums I buy radio and BET still is not gonna play it. Honestly I think we need the negativity in the music, just to show people how f***ed up it is outside their world. I think people look at this whole music thing wrong, instead of approaching it like censor the artist why not take like I need to do something to make it better. I think that is why artist put it out, at least some of them. I mean growing up no one successful came back to hood and say look at me, you get this to. Instead they avoided us and looked at us as second class. But that drug dealer who acknowledge me day to day and take the time to speak would be more appealing. It is not the music, you can clean it up but the social ills will exist.

Check out my records @ http://www.myspace.com/htownsoundinc and if you really want to make a difference, then promote positivity. Every hiphop related story doesnt deserve coverage. "Nore in a porn video"? Please! Jayz n Beyonce married? I cant even go out with a decent woman an im throwed and financially straight. Fix those problems; black women are alienating themselves from us because some of us brothers lack motivation. Its easy to live through someone elses life; Why do you think kids want to be rappers? Because lil wayne gets to shoot cool videos and have cars and drink syurp and cant no one tell him shit. Hell i did it. i masked my whole identity through music because I couldn't relate to much of the stuff said to me on a daily basis from dumb ass negros and "the man". No matter how many conscious rappers are there, yall as fans aint gonna support that shit. I know because I cant get exposure or plays or downloads from my myspace page. But if i wanted to smoke weed in the video or throw up flags n signs then youd notice. No one says anything to you if youre doing it right. An anyone knows if youre from Houston that the SUC didn't thrive to be a hiphop unit. They just lucked up and had something different. But those guys sold DRUGS and allowed rap to be an outlet for the trafficking. Every last one of them moved a brick or so at some point. and since some couldn't find commercial success, best believe they are right back at it. And another good point is when will we get together as people and stop letting the white folk chastize and blaspheme us for the same shit that they do. Sopranos? Scarface? Godfather? GoodFellows? Jerry lee lewis (of great balls of fire fame)married his drummers minor daughter and he gets to be in the hall of fame as the creator of rock an roll. But we talk about cars and girls and its wrong? Did Luda solicit Bill O'Reilly's comments or did bill just need fuel and stepped in Luda's lane. Cuz Luda didnt say anything to him... What about Nas? Even better... who is even talkin about O'reilly in the hip hop community? No one when i last checked. So how is it that the man can come over to our ball park and try to take our ball from us so we cant play anymore as a TEAM like we've been tryin to do? BUT YALL LET THEM THOUGH! I've lost jobs in the past because regardless of how anyone feels about some shit, if it doesn't make sense to me then im gonna say something. Mightve lost my job but give me my respect i deserve. (yeah i know youre thinking, "Nigga, you lost the job though!" Well its NOT the only JOB in the world. Start standing for yourselves first then try to put the world of hiphop on your back. But you gotta look in the mirror first and make sure you're not perpetuating the image that we all so hate so much.

Man!!! So far I co-sign everybody on this joint.... That's what's up and 4real... Yo FLX Thanks!!!! You are something... I apologize... for the previous comments before... U is a real dude!!! I appreciate you taking the time out 2 put this one together.. Yeah...I got a few others together and we are really gonna start a Dirty South Movement of Knowledge for HIP HOP!!! Even the East, West, heck even the Midwest gotta join... this will be so powerful... SOHH.com We are gonna need your help... to bring in more bloggers and listeners... I will HOLLA BACK.... 1 LUV!!

Thanks FLX!!!
