So everyone is looking for talk of the latest beef. 50 said this and Buck said that.

But have you thought for a minute, is this even real beef? Did you forget that while Buck is out of G-Unit, he's still on G-Unit records and how all of this is happening just as he's prepping for a summer album release. Or are you too caught up in this like a bunch of schoolgirls and talking about who said what to who and when and if they saw each other in the streets who would win the fight. I think you'd all be very surprised to know how much of this rap industry beef is really fake.

  • Forget rap beef. Hip-hop may not be dead on the whole but in the mainstream, its S.O.L. The reason is for shit like this where two dudes no longer feel the need to work together so the media acts like the world is coming to an end. Really though, it doesn't matter whether Buck is in the group or not, 50 is G-Unit the group and Buck is his own man. Really rappers should be more concern with the future for real because the good times are coming to an end. Platinum plaques will not be....scratch that...no longer are handed out on a weekly basis like the Bad Boy and No Limit era. And really true rap fans like myself aren't concern because I can always find great artists on the indie route and underground (Little Brother, Aesop Rock and an up and coming named Bo P). So basically the other one who will be crying at the funeral for mainstream rap will be those short sighted rappers, producers, record execs and other bloodsuckers who wouldn't have a job if it wasn't for rap-mainstream that is. I say corporate American should cut off the lifeline and leave all the mentioned leeches to die. But it'll most likely happen anyway when Nas drops his "Nigger" album. He told told you it was coming with "Hip-Hop is Dead) and now it is here. Goodbye, bling bling (ie Jesus piece), video vixens(ie Ester Baxter), wannabe thugs (ie Rick Ross) and everything that rap has made $ with.

  • The comment about jail time and stuff is simple. People like to identify with the artist and those things give you a story about the artist to make him seem more authentic or credible. Not necessarily a better rapper but that's how it works. People like Pac cause he was real. He spoke his mind. There are people that are more lyrical then Pac but they don't have a story or character. He went to jail, got shot on two ocassions, and even shot a police officer. Those things give the artist character. So they make you like the artist instead of just the song. Rappers that just make a hit song without the public knowing anything about them usually don't live past that 1st or second song because the fans love the song but don't care about the artist. Reference MIMS.

  • When was the last "beef" fake? Serious.

Like, for the most part, this whole "beef" thing is a media construct anyway. Take this instance for example. Neither 50 nor Buck has stated that they consider this beef. Neither one. Yet, here comes SOHH trying to miseducate and misinform the Hip hop community with little buzz words like "beef" when it may or may not even apply.

But they do it in a sneaky coniving way. Notice how he's taking the "you 'school girls' don't notice but this BEEF is fake. Hahaha, they really got you with their fake BEEF. You're not as educated in Hip hop as we are, we see real BEEF when it happens, but fake BEEF we see a mile away. Lol@you!"

By pretending to be the cynical, hip hop elitist in-the-know, they can spew their propaganda without coming off as the misinforming, irresponsible idiots they are.

But I have one question for these people and people like them:

REMEMBER WHEN EVERYONE THOUGHT THE 50/GAME BEEF WAS "FAKE"?

    HUH? REMEMBER THAT?!

THEN SOMEONE GOT SHOT!? HUH? REMEMBER THAT? SEVERAL YEARS AGO, IT WAS, RIGHT?

LONG ASS TIME FOR A FAKE BEEF? KINDA? MAYBE?

    fake as fuckers.
