Flo Rida vs Rocko Da Don

So we've got these two releases today and I've got a few questions for you hip hop heads.

Flo Rida vs Rocko Da Don who's selling more copies in the first week?

Will either of them go platinum?

I'd also like to hear your predictions for first week album sales for each of these two. I'll give you my opinions now.

Flo Rida will outsell Rocko in the first week. Neither of these releases is going platinum, at least not in the first 3 to 6 months. Flo Rida will debut in the top 5 on Billboard and Rocko probably around 11 to 13. I see Flo Rida catching about 140,000 in the first week and Rocko with around 70,000.

I also am wondering are you buying either of these releases today and if so which one and why?

  • Rocko's album has very solid production. But I feel he is a carbon copy of Jeezy and T.I. I feel Flo-Rida is a ladies/club rapper. Flo will sell more than Rocko b/c of his demographic.

  • FloRida is a ringtone rapper persay! I like Rocko a lil bit better! FloRida is one fla rapper ive never heard of before his first single, so im not really sure where exactly hes from! Rocko will make strong first week numbers the single is a club/street banger! He is a fly-swaggish dude too! Both will do decent first week numbers and thats it, unless Rocko can come with a strong second single and im not feeling Busy that much to garner any strong sales

  • Florida will definatley sell more than Rocko. Although they have different styles in music, Flo has a broader fan base... Meaning his music appeals more to the masses while Rocko only appeals to the street cats. Even though i'm not a big fan of either one, I would choose to listen to Rocko over Flo. Simply because Rocko makes rider music you can bump. Won't buy either one of em though!

    flo rida will go platinum but not until the award shows come back around bcuz of his hit low. he will garner alil more attention and win some awards at mtv, bet. until then with another hit single i think he will have to settle for gold. I think rocko wont go gold unless he has stronger follow up singles backing up umma do me. wit singles birhtday low and elevator and catchy hooks club friendly tracks flo can stay relevant. rocko is a star he just needs more hits
