So I made a prediction last week and it looks like I was a bit generous which is rare.
So its up on the front page right and I thought I'd give you Dirty Plies fans a little chance to talk about it too. It's Plies giving a little info on his 'Bust It Baby' meaning as he gets ready to drop it on the world.
Check out this new pic I got of Mike Jones. What happened to your boy, has he been working out hard, did he get a surgery? It appears he's really been on it and ready to make '08 his biggest year yet. I guess he's been dropping and giving more than 50.
So the weather is starting to heat up and I just got back from Florida and I get this new track off the Pitbull album. It's titled 'The Anthem' and features Lil Jon. I know interesting combo right and Im just not sure what to do with this track so I'll let you listen to it and tell me what you think. So its been a minute since there was a new Baby D single hitting the airwaves and I can't say that's a bad thing. Anyway enough of that because we've got a track and a video to go with it this time. It's 'Im Bout Money' featuring Blaze on the R&B tip of the track. I'll let you watch the video and tell me what you think of it.
So is anyone feeling this new Rich Boy track? I heard it about a week ago and I knew I liked it. I got the download link right here for you and word is the mixtape is going to be a "Monsta" also. So Rick Ross dropped his big second release 'Trilla' on us last week and today he comes in at the #1 spot on the Billboard 200 with 198,000 units moved. This in part proving that the the boss wasnt just a one hit wonder. In fact 'Trilla' sales were higher than his debut release in the first week. Does 'Trilla' have staying power on the charts is going to be the question?
So we've got these two releases today and I've got a few questions for you hip hop heads.
Flo Rida vs Rocko Da Don who's selling more copies in the first week?
Will either of them go platinum?
I'd also like to hear your predictions for first week album sales for each of these two. I'll give you my opinions now.
Flo Rida will outsell Rocko in the first week. Neither of these releases is going platinum, at least not in the first 3 to 6 months. Flo Rida will debut in the top 5 on Billboard and Rocko probably around 11 to 13. I see Flo Rida catching about 140,000 in the first week and Rocko with around 70,000.
I also am wondering are you buying either of these releases today and if so which one and why?
So it's been more than a few minutes that fans have been waiting to get their hands on Lil' Wayne's Carter III album. It was pushed back from a 2007 release to sometime this year and the date is now official. It's been set for May 13th and the question is are you buying it? We already know I'm not a Lil' Wannabe fan, so I won't even put my 2 cents on this one. Do you see major sales on this and if not what does that mean?
