Flo-Rida's 'Low' Is Staying High On the Charts

You know I dont know what it is and if its going to translate into album sales or not but Flo-Rida is killing them with his hit single 'Low.' I know you've heard it already, your girl probably loves it and I know I hate it, but damn he's getting after them on the Billboard charts. Breaking the digital record and staying on top of the BillBoard Hot 100 for 8 weeks now. His album hasn't dropped yet but it will soon and I wonder will all of this translate into album sales. You tell me what you think. My opinion is that it wont, and I like the dude personally, but these singles buyers and fans are nowhere near loyal, thats why they buy singles. His album will fade fast and then I wonder whats next.

    Despite this niggas wackness, he can still make money. Plenty of wack rappers from the past have already proved it's possible.
    If this nigga wants to sell units he will have to continue putting out them booty shaking songs. First impressions are lasting, so this nigga will be forever remembered as a rapper who makes songs for bitches to shake there asses to. If he comes out with a "gangsta/hardcore" song, that shit will flop. So my advice to Flo-rida is to keep singing hooks by swagger jacking Nelly and to do what you down south niggas do best - continue making songs about tricking money on these hoes. Fucking Captain-Save-a-hoe-ass-niggas!!!

  • I'm not a fan but he has one heck of a way of riding the beat. Can't front, he put nelly to shame on singin'/rappin' while riding the beat...makes you think if 7 years ago this cat could've been 5x platinum too..he may have the potential to pull a mystikal on us..remember we were saying the same thing about him and that album produced a few gems...don't under estimate he may be south but he's south east at least. Good luck and fortune to him...we need someone to push a ridiculous number to give us hope even if its less than a stellar project. stop hating and start reviving hip hop folks
