So it's time to start a new year but I'll talk more about that in the coming days. For now I wanted to get a quick posted up session in so that everyone could share their plans and spot to finish '07 and start '08. I'll most likely be at none other than Rhythm City in Dallas where you can find Tum Tum and alot of ladies I would imagine. Here's a little flyer, so haters if you're in D town then stay down and let me know if you see me. Post up your spot and your plans if you got something going on and let's get it poppin in the New Year.

I know my T Town people are going to have it poppin with George Lopez and the Glam Girls at the Executive Club in downtown. My man Zeno is going to get it poppin at Club Episodes with a Drop It money drop and there's plenty more out there happening. You might even hit after hours and catch me downtown at Starzz with my people.

I thought this video deserved another little highlight since it's entertaining. It's from this past Saturday night at the club with Big Tuck and Fat B. Late after the club closed it's cold, about 3 in the morning and people are feeling good if you know what I mean. DigiPimp - It's almost 2008 so up your hate game!

Today is a good day for a little fill in the blank. It's the day after Christmas for those of you that celebrate and still the holiday season for others. So today I present a question and I'll start us off with a couple examples. As the topic says "Santa Should Have Given (blank) A (blank.) This is obviously about southern rappers, so here we go.

Santa should have given Lil Wayne a Dictionary to help him improve his corny ass rhymes.

Santa should have given Yung Joc a Soap On A Rope for all his trips to the lock up.

Whats up with rappers that cant seem to remember that it's not a good idea to try and pass guns through airports? Yung Joc just got busted this weekend for sporting a fully loaded pistol in his carry on luggage. Now really, is this a case of not packing your own bags, or is it just a simple mistake for someone that travels a lot? Either way if it's in your carry on luggage then I'd say you better be sure of what you've got, especially for a guy already facing some gun charges.

So this little Three 6 Mafia track is starting to float around the net a bit and word is, this might be the final track that Pimp C got on before he passed away. You can feel a little of the old school flavor in it. But was it really the last thing he ever did? Check out the track titled 'On Sum Chrome' by Three 6 Mafia featuring Pimp C and let me know how you feel!

So what happened to the Birdman and the massive push on his latest release. He was on MTV, BET, the radio, the internet, fake blooding with Lil Wannabe on all kinds of media spots. Where did the sales go. If you didn't know, the Birdman debuted at #18 with 86,000 units moved. So did you buy the album? What's your review? Is this success or failure? His video cost more than his album made in sales in the first week, uh oh. If you see the Birdman this time the tears on his face might be real.

So maybe you're tired of (or didn't like) the Trap Starz 'Get It Big' track to start with, well it just got better. Now you're able to listen to it and not feel bad about it. They enlisted the help of Chamillionaire to jump on the remix and the track suddenly becomes better. As usual Chamillionaire's bars are hot.

So I know you kids out there seem to only get interested in things if it's about Lil Wannabe. Well I've got a little video that's fresh on the net from your man Chamillionaire. He's got footage of PA the day of the Pimp C's funeral and of Lil Wayne speaking about Pimp C's death and how he was influenced by him.

It's rare to hear something sensible coming out of his mouth, but I guess everyone has a moment. MTV also happened to name Wayne as mixtape artist of the year today and his Da Drought 3 was named best mixtape of the year by them as well. With 77 tracks out on mixtapes this year I guess it's no surprise. But how about 50 of them being corny nursery rhyme type of sh!t, give him an award for that.

So last week I talked to Big Tuck and he told me about his new single "Not A Stain On Me.' Maybe you were wondering where he had been or if he fell off? Well this single proves that he's still in the game and evolving with it and maybe even getting better. I've got a little exclusive video of him performing the track live, so check it out.

You know I don't talk about Luda much on here and admittedly I'm not a fan. But it's hard to go wrong doing a track and a video with Bun B and Rick Ross in it. Well this video for "Down In the Dirty" is about to start making rotations and I'm sure you're going to hear it a lot more than you want to maybe, maybe not.

Seems like rappers are nearly going full collabo on albums these days. Who does albums by themselves anymore? Is this the only way to sell albums?

I know you've been listening to that Mike Jones 'Drop & Gimme 50' track up in the club already and going hard on the ladies to drop it. Well check out this video, that just started circulating a bit, showing your boy Money Stacks making the ladies drop and give him 50. It's a little preview of what's to come in the official video, as well as Mike Jones calling for you to give him your best videos of you dropping it. So get on top of things and get out there and try to get some of those ladies dropping it for you, I know I will be starting tonight.

So today I've got a little video and from what I've been told it appears to be video of the last time Pimp C was on stage, the weekend of his death. It's from a live performance in LA at the House of Blue's where he was hyping and performing with Too Short as you can see. Not much else of significance about this video it would appear, other than maybe it's the last time Pimp was on stage.

It's Tuesday again and that means it's time for new music. Today brings us releases from C Murder, Gucci Mane and Birdman just to name a few big ones in the south. And today also brings us a little news about Pimp C being put to rest and a video from one of the people he was working with as of late, Pimpin Ken discussing how they first met and his thoughts.

So if you can only buy one, which of the 3 named releases are you most looking forward to and why? Are you buying more than one or all 3?

I'm calling it Mixtape Monday and offering up a couple free mixtapes today. One is a classic and the other is new. I've got a little of that hot new DJ Smallz featuring 2 Pistols with some gunshine state raw raps. And to continue remembering the passing of Pimp C I'm going to link up once again with that classic DJ Scream mixtape featuring all the lyrics of Pimp C.

I know the show must go on but I'm pausing for a minute for Pimp C. Normally in the past we would wait for an album to pay tribute, but Lil Flip didn't waste any time with getting a track up the day after Pimp passed. I've had it playing on my site for a minute now, but I thought I would post it up here in case anyone still hadn't heard it or downloaded it.

Next week I'll return to the game and covering the whole south, but I'm going to give Pimp a bit more time to be remembered. No rumors here as usual, just remember what he gave the game and how it affected you.

So it's official Pimp C is dead, but we're going to mourn with celebration of his life and what he brought to the game. So lets post up our thoughts and experiences, did you meet him, go to a show, did he make you want to get into the game. Remember a video, a time, a place, when you started listening to UGK. Share it all and let people know how you really feel.

Im not one to report or discuss rumors much but TMZ.com is reporting that Pimp C is dead. It's just come through the wire in the last hour and is up on their site. Here's the text, Im currently trying to get in touch with some close friends of his to find out what the real story is. Let's hope it's not true, but I havent seen TMZ post false stories on something this serious in the past. Im going to keep making calls trying to get through to someone to find out whats really up and I'll update when I do find out more.

Update: I have confirmed it via some phone calls now and Pimp is indeed dead. I wont speculate on rumors or anything thats not my style. Hopefully we'll have an official statement later today. RIP Pimp

Yeah Im talking about the real king of the south Scarface today. Its time to get MADE and Scarface is back to help it happen. So we thought he had moved on to helping others do their thing with his recent projects. But he decided it was time to come back and give us some mroe classics. But does this album contain the classics or is it really just quickly thrown together?

I've already heard it and I wont say from where, but its safe to say that this is a good album. It's got a little old style Scarface but it's got the new too. It's got guest appearances from big names as well. You see the ads all over the site, you knew it was happening today, so go get your copy and then comment on it.

So I've been wondering, how are you guys liking the Trap Starz Clik? I'm not sure a lot of people realize these boys are from Dallas and they're just now starting to blow up. You've probably heard the song in the club, maybe you knew who it was and maybe you didn't. Well now the video just started making rotations last week and I thought I'd post it up on here for you to watch and share.

I spoke with Lil High this weekend while I was in Dallas and hopefully I'll be able to get you some exclusive video footage and have a sit down with the guys real soon.
