D Town Posted Up

What's up people, I'm a little late and writing from the hotel room. Anyway, I'm out and around in Dallas at the moment and hope to have up some video to share with you from this weekend. Maybe a little Hypnotized Minds video from the show last night as well as more of The Big Red Rooster boys. I'd also like to let you know to come out this Saturday night to Wish in Dallas to see the Big Red Rooster video premiere.

So we're back to posting up for a minute. So if you have something going on in your area then share it with the people and let everyone know where the spot to be is this weekend. You can catch up with me at the posted event and say whats up, haters feel free to show up too, should be a good time.

Are You A Five-Star Stunna?

What it is people. Today I thought I would throw up these 5* Stunna web episodes and let you speak out on them. Do I really care if you're a 5* Stunna? Hell no! What I really want to know is what do you think of these videos and maybe at the end of them I'll let you know what I think. So, let's kick it off with the first one and follow the break because there are plenty more.

Smitty Speaks the Truth

Man, I was lucky enough to catch up with Smitty recently and sit down and do a little interview. Of course I wasn't totally sure where things would go. A lot of times these are pretty standard and the artists are so used to doing them that they spit out the same thing as if they are a broken record. "Buy my album, listen to my music and blah blah blah." Well Smitty definitely didn't do that. He gave me one of the realest interviews that I've done and was more than happy to go into areas of the business and behind the scenes talk that you dont hear a lot about.

You might have thought he was just some new cat who got a deal thrown at him. But Smitty has been around the game for a minute now and in bigger ways that you might have imagined. So with that I'd like you to check out the interview and a favorite track that Smitty is on from recent times.

Alright people maybe you've seen the trailer for the video on YouTube or something. Maybe you're a Cash Money fan and managed to find a peek of it or something. Well Im going to show you the Birdman '100 Million' video today featuring names like Rick Ross, Dre, Young Jeezy, Lil Wayne and DJ Khaled. This is a big production style video, CMB style, Scarface style, and not alot of substance, just a lot of bragging.

stay in after the break for a little shout out

Hurricane Chris 'Playas Rock' Video

Here's yet another brand new video from Hurricane Chris. It's not any snapping and clapping type of sh!t this time. It's more of a party track or something but all I know is that Im not feeling it. The question is are you, and what do you think of the potential of this track and video?

drop.jpg

So it's Friday the day after Thanksgiving and I thought I'd take a moment to discuss Mike Jones. Well in case you didnt realize it, this past Tuesday the 'American Dream' EP and movie dropped into stores and here we are just a few days later and his people are pushing a new track not even from that album, but from a new one scheduled for next year.

So what happened to Mike Jones? Why did he fall off so fast and why has the label lost confidence in him? Was it a case of him being a Houston hip hop head and getting it because of the people around him, or did he really deserve his shot? Keep reading to listen to the track and decide for yourself if bigger things are coming or if it's over for Mr Jones.

Alright so you read the title and you're already thinking, what the f@%k is Big Red Rooster and what is it doing on SOHH Dirty. Well, I'll tell you if you dont already know. It's a rap rock band, well a band with their own flavor and I hate to even label them as one thing because they do a little of it all. I've got their video for you to check out, and then if you follow in after the break you can listen to an interview I did with some of the guys just last week. So here's the video for "How You Like That" featuring Slim Thug and shot in Dallas of course!

Oh yeah it's a good day to share a little Chamillionaire news. First, I've got the latest track to start hitting the airwaves off the Chamillionaire album. It's "Wont Let You Down" featuring Slim Thug, Lil KeKe, Mike Jones, Trae, Bun B, Z-Ro, Pimp C and Paul Wall. Those are quite a few big names, thats all Texas on the remix track, check it out.

Lil Keke "Im A G" Video

Damn it's good to finally a see a Lil Keke video getting out there and aren't you ready for that album to finally come out? This is the new video for Keke's song "I'm A G" I know you've already been listening to this song for more than a minute.

Funny thing is a lot of the people watching BET and on BET think he's a new artist and they thought they were making a discovery.

So, it was just a couple days ago that I sat down and talked with Mista Mal. If you're not familiar with him or his music yet, this will give you a chance to find out about another southern artist that's grinding and starting to make it. I'll let you the interview speak for itself and then after the break you can peep a little video footage of him on the Sneaker Pimps tour.

Who's Wes Fif?

That's what I was wondering and maybe you should be too. I'm just starting to hear some buzz about the latest artist to sign with Slip N Slide Records and I think you're going to hear a lot more about him real soon. With a few mixtapes floating around and a song "Like Me" starting to get airplay on the radio, it's time to find out who Wes Fif is. So here's a link to his MySpace and you can listen to the tracks and tell me what you think.

and follow the break to check out a recent video he's featured in

Project Pat Audio Interview

Alright, so it's been just 2 weeks since the new Project Pat album Walkin Bank Roll dropped into stores and in the meantime I hooked up a little interview with Pat and asked him a few questions. If you haven't bought the album yet, I do recommend it. There are several tracks worth listening to, and its almost one of those play from begining to end type of albums. So enjoy the interview and get out and pick up your copy, it's not too late! (Take it easy on me, I did this interview the morning after the Play N Skillz party and was running on 2 or 3 hours sleep in the past few days so its not my best.)

Yes Pitbull is an MC & From the Dirty!

Believe it or not I'm going to give a little spotlight to my man Pitbull today. I know he gets slept on but has been putting out a little bit of hotness on the streets for the dirty for a minute now. Well, he's about to drop a major release for him and I'm going to drop on the new video and let you talk about why you do or dont respect his game. So let's start with the video, it's brand new Pitbull feat Llloyd 'Secret Admirer' is the track and it has cameos from Fat Joe and Steven Bauer who starred as Manolo Ribera in the movie Scarface.

It happened just the other day on the BET Black College tour at a stop at Texas Southern. Chamillionaire was on stage and performing and started the track 'In Love With My Money' and then guess who walked out onto the stage. It's been a minute now but it was Paul Wall and Chamillionaire threw up the video to show it. It's the Color Changin Click nearly back together again, is this a one time thing or a preview of maybe a reunion album for the future. I guess we'll just have to wait and see, until then enjoy part 1 of the video and then click inside to see part 2!

Huey 'Nobody Loves the Hood' Video

Alright let's get a bit serious for a moment today or at least enjoy a serious video. It's Huey out of the STL and I'm talking about it on the Dirty blog because it needs a little light and it's a video dedicated to the Jena 6. A lot of you asked me to speak about it more and I don't get into it because this site is about the music, so we got into it when it fit in. Today's video fits in and is a good look at a more serious side of Huey. So check out the video and hit him up on his MySpace page for more music and videos. Hit the comments here to let people know what you think. After the break I'll throw in another of his vids that's not so serious, but just good to listen to.

Keep in after the break for more...

Scarface "Southern Royalty" Mixtape

I figure with about a month to go until the new Scarface hits the stores it's a good time to drop a Scarface mixtape on all of you. I know I've been a fan since back in the days when a Geto Boys cassette was one of my first ever music purchases and Face is still going hard. This mixtape has a little of all of it from old to new, collabos and Geto Boys tracks as well as solo tracks. So listen or get your free download and let everyone know if you're going to buy that new Scarface 'Made' when it hits the stores.

lilwaynethecarter3.jpg

Alright so here is the pic that's floating around right now, it's not even a new one but everyone is buzzing about this being the cover for The Carter III. Well, let me set it straight, it's a photoshop. I mean do I really need to tell anyone that? The fact that people think it could possibly be the real cover is the best part of the story and says something about Wayne in itself. Afterall, he never denied kissing Baby, in fact he embraced it. This pic has been out for a few months, this is just a recently photoshopped version, so dont believe the hype once again.

Here we go we're getting back into it again and it's time for me to catch up with the mailbox. I got this track sent to me recently for Mr Rellik and I listened and thought I would share. It's called "I See Dead People" and features Mistah Fabb, Spark Dawg, and Coota Bang so you know it goes hard. Check out the track, the pic and then hit them up on the comments if you like the new music.

Get in after the break to catch couple quick drops for SOHH Dirty from Play N Skillz and Slim Thug.

Play-N-Skillz Halloween Bash

Man, I'm back and recovered. I know I missed yesterday so it's time to get it poppin' again. Well, I missed the day because I was busy in D town with Play-N-Skillz at their Halloween Bash. Tum Tum and my homegirl Gina hooked up and got me up for the party and I was there really just to chill and relax and have a good time without a camera. But I didnt do that, I brought the camera so I could give a little back to my people and friends who invited me to the party.

You can check out the rest of the pics featuring Play-N-Skillz, Nina Sky, Slim Thug, Reyes, Tum Tum among a few others at Play N Skillz Halloween Pics. It was a 1980's throwback style night and the club (Suite in Dallas) was packed. Play-N-Skillz definitely know how to party and you'll be reading plenty more about them and what they've got going on in the near future on here. I'll drop a few video drops on you soon too with Slim Thug and Play N Skillz shouting out to SOHH Dirty!

So tell everyone what you were doing this Halloween.
