Hell yeah these ringtone rappers have fucked up the rap game, but these ringtone rapper's days are numbered. Real niggaz are going to take the game back and kick all these young lame cats out of the game.

Ringtone rappers do fuck the game up. But, it's just a phase. At the end of the day, record labels are about selling albums, not ringtones. So, if someone sells a million ringtones, but sells 50,000 copies in their first week as a major, then the label isn't happy. The problem is that record labels do not respect our music. They think it all sounds the same, and they can get away with tryin to play us by playin the same bullshit over and over again on the radio. As they see artists like Common, Talib Kweli, UGK stayin strong in the charts, they will realize that us consumers want real music, real emotion, real hip-hop and will give artists more creative control and not rely on gimmicks so much.

Where the fuck does Sohh get these bloggers? Yung Joc's album was just released this tuesday of course it won't be in the top 10, because it hasn't even been out a fuckin week.

Actually I do have my favorite rappers ringtone. I got DMX's We In Here on my phone. Of course I only bought it cause I was bored and honestly haven't bought another ringtone since lol. But the ringtone rappers aren't for us. People keep saying that they hurting the game but they not. I don't bump them but still. They here for the youngstas who aint really up on that harder more darker side of things. Ringtone rappers have been in the game for a minute now yet I still got the Doctor's Advocate and Hip Hop Is Dead. And more and more good music is coming out. Its just more divided now and the focus is really on other places in hip hop. Its not hurting the game, its just another part of the game.

When u think about it, what really is a "ringtone rapper"? is a ringtone rapper strictly a rapper with poor lyrical ablility but makes one hot single? I dont see much of a prolem with "ringtone" rappers. Black folks getting paid. But still some of the music is very dumbed down. But thats music for the kids. Not nessicarily dude...ringtones have very lil overhead cost and 100% Zero manufacturing cost. therefore its anywhere between 95-100% profit whereas cds there's a lot of overhead costs.
