Did Master P go soft or grow up?

I dont know when it happened exactly but at some point Master P changed. I remember Ice Cream Man and screaming Bout It Bout It but then one day it was all gone and P was happy with people calling him Percy.
So with P about to release a new album and a new committment to be profanity free, the question is did Master P go soft, or did he just grow up and should we all do the same?
Maybe you haven't heard but P or Percy is soon to drop an album with his son Romeo on the same day as none other than 50 cent and in recent interviews he claims the drop date has nothing to do with the mini battle or beef betweem him and 50 over profanity and his use or non use of it.
But P insists it has nothing to do with the mini beef, it's about giving customers "freedom of choice." The album is said to have guest stars such as Chamillionaire who has almost made a similar committement of going profanity free on his next album and says truthly no one would notice unless he said so.
So speak up, is this growing up, going soft or just another attempt to gain a little publicity and sell some more albums. Master P has gone off far from his old style to dancing on tv, and is now taking it a step further. I almost hate to say it, as much as I think a man can get his point across without cursing, I think going profanity free doesnt mean you've grown up, to me Master P just fell off after his son started growing up.
Either way I cant hate on a man for evolving even if Ill never buy another thing he does. And with that goes a special shout out to my haters, reading is fundamental and learn how to write a full sentence you bishes! And now some Master P dancing, cause that ish is just too funny to not watch over and over!

P gon soft, he doing this for promotion for his movies( black superman or some shit like that) thats comin out. He made his money off of this rap game now he tryin to knock the next man's hustle, I don't like 50 but he called it Master 50 does not sell records anymore.
P is a serious business man so this might be a gimmick to some extent, but take it from a grown ass woman, despite what Diddy might lead you to believe, once you have children that you are actually raising you tend to grow up. Things that were ok with you at 20 are not supposed to be ok at 40. If you can look at your 11 - 15 year old daughter and think it's ok for rappers to be referring to and thinking of her as a ho, then you may have some mental or at the very least developmental issues.
If you are in your 20s right now, you might be thinking I'm never gonna be that corny, but if you are a normal person you will become your parents whether you like it or not.
P is a grown ass man who is so grown he's about to be the father of an adult son. A well rounded good son at that. He's acting the way he's supposed to be acting at his age.
Sohh is going soft. Thats a silly ass setup question. What does that even mean going soft. This really shows how ass backwards black people have become, how is it that dudes (S. Carter, P. Miller, N. Jones) that have been where you are trying to go, lived it, been through it, and now are in a position to provide some type of insight to the ones coming after them (Game, 50, Cam, any of these sloppy ass rappers) get dissed the same ones that they paved ground for? huh?

P is well into his thirties, damn near 40. Why is it so far fetched for you to think that he is actually smartening up? Let the man live. Hopefully he'll teach some of you so called thugs and gangsta's that what you're striving to be is a bunch of bullshit...
In a sense I can say he's grown up but in the same sense he's knocking other people for doing the same thing he did. I mean his music was rough party music for the longest. He did have mystical and Fiend on his label for the longest. LMAO. Chamillionaire doesn't really cuss that much on his music in the first place (even in his underground music) so it's not really that much of a change for him. But wats with all the sudden change is something about to go on that we don't know about yet?????

One of these rappers who still spittin shit like they fresh off da block when they spend half the year on tours and the other half makin movies and beer commercials?
he knows he helped usher in the whole Trap-Star movement outside of Puffy and the Shinny Suit Takeover up-north, Glorifying the whole "Get Rich Or Die Trying" manifesto.
Now he's older and realizes what he dealt his hand in and wants to see change. He's like the scientist who created a deadly potion but wants to initiate change after he see's the first-hand ill-effects of what he created.
Ain't nothing wrong with P, something wrong with you if can't understand what he's doing. P is a family man who wants set a good example for his kids and he also wants them to live a better lifestyle than he could growing up.
The motivation for his latest project could be seen as questionable given his notorious rep for "swagger jackin", but I wish more heavyweights in the industry were as brave as P and willing to take a stand and be apart of the solution like P is doing. Homie is putting his neck on the line for the greater good of community, you got to respect that!!!

The man made three times what 50 cent is worth in the 90s. And 50 aint have to say master P aint selling records, neither is gunit for that matter! Why he aint say insult banks, buck or mobb deep? All he had to say was he was going to keep using his frredom of speech in his music. He aint have to insult that man that paid for his first tour in the south. This dude is too busy being a part of the problem instead of the solution.
I think P is growing up. I don't think he should knock somebody that still curses in their music though. I look at it like a man is 10 stronger than a gangster. He's got more shit to live for.
Master P is a clown and a hypocrite. I just saw a movie on starz with him and Katt Williams and they was cussing up a storm. And that dude is so big and ugly. He just doesn't fit in any more. He's like 40 sumthing trying to act 20. So I guess it only makes sense that he grows up in some way. I'm sure when 50 turns 45 he won't cuss either.
I think Master P is growing up. If he is setting an example for his son and for others, then it's not a problem. Just because Master P wants to clean up his lyrics doesn't mean that he is going soft or knocking off other rappers.
Wow...I have no words for that video...LOL..funny shit. But I wouldn't necessarily say he's gotten "soft"...but I think he know that the "No Limit" phase was dying out and I think he just took the high road and tried to gracefully bow out.....like 50 said...no one was checking for any No Limit artist nor was P selling like he use to, he already had a lackluster crew to begin with, so you might as well do something different.
Master P is basically irrelevant in the music world & has been for years so whether he's cussing or not it doesnt really matter becuz he's not gonna sell.
If you ever listen to Chamillion he barely even uses profanity as it is.
Master P should have been stop helping these rappers from other states. He should have stuck w/New Orleans rappers he had and supported them ie. Fiend,Mystikal,C-Murder and Soulja Slim whom was creating on his own "a different style cutthroat u here now" Instead he helped Snoop out his contract w/Suge,paid 4 50's 1st tour.Now he cant even get a feaure let alone respect from these guys.

People act like no one has ever made a profanity free album. Cool Breeze did it with his "East Point's Greatest Hit" album back in '99. Al needs to stop the madness! Are we going to take the profanity out of movies too? Also, "Ghetto D" was recently re-released, Did Master P see fit to only release the clean version? Of course not. You know I'm glad that 50 is cleaning up his music. You don't have to cuss to make good music! Maybe that will make more artist set an example for the young fans. Why is it that hip hop ain't selling no more? Because how many times can rappers rap about selling dope and getting it for cheap! What example are we setting? I look up to artist like YZ, KRS, Fat Pat, none of these cats we're real heavy with cussing. What P is doing is not only smothing needed but also a smart business move! I pray this leads other artist to follow suit and change the world. If you remember that's what hip hop started as! It's time to go full circle. May God bless you always.

Artists, and most black people for that matter choose not to think for themselves and will not follow suite until whitey accepts it and turns it into big money.
