Alright let's cap this week off by talking a little about the Lil' Flip album that dropped on tuesday of this week. If you ever listened to Flip and liked his shit, buy the album because it's a Lil' Flip classic. The album is called I Need Mine, and it has 39 tracks. Anyway today I wanna talk about what songs ya'll think are the best off of the new album, and I'm gonna talk about which songs are my favorites. Also, Flip's people released a few new videos yesterday on the website I posted at the bottom of this blog, so I got a couple of new underground music videos on here today for songs off of the new album.

Alright these dudes are staright out of Hiram Clarke, and if you are from Houston and don't know where or what that is then just kill yourself. The album they are going to release is their first debut album through 20/20 Productions/610 Entertainment, distributed by BCD Music Group, titled Trunkk Musikk. Everyone in H Town is always begging for some underground sound that is actually worth their while, well this is an underground group that is honestly worth giving a shot. Not having a major deal is not slowing these dues. They are hitting the road doing shows with major acts like Jim Jones, Lil Wayne, and opening for R&B songstress, Mya in Atlanta next month.
Alright the new Lil' Flip CD was released yesterday. If you haven't picked it up yet then you are a fucking fool. It has been so long sense Flip released a CD that I am gonna leave the same blog up from yesterday. I have a lot of material for the next few weeks with several major releases from Houston artists, so today I'm gonna keep it real and let Flip continue to get his shine on. Going four years without a major label release and coming back out with 39 songs and not a whole lot of advertising ain't no easy shit. Whether you like it or not Lil' Flip is a Houston legend. I gave ya'll a good solid preview of his album, but you can't fully understand why I say this album is a classic until you buy it and hear the whole thing. Go ahead...hate...but a lot of ya'll know what I'm saying. I'm not gonna lie I hated on Flip for not releasing albums, and I used to say he was played out and repetitive. However, I just realized this fool knows what he's doing. When I listened to his new album, all 39 songs, I see that he knows how to entertain. Buy the damn album if you like H Town hip-hop.
I know this is kinda a West Coast topic, but sense this group is pretty familiar in the south and I got the info on it I'm gonna post it anyway.Numskull was formerly a member of the group Luniz, which went platinum on their debut album Operation Stackola with the hit single, “I Got 5 On It." I know all ya'll remember that joint. That shit still gets spins on Houston radio. Anyway Da Luniz was the group made up of Yukmouth and Numskull. Yukmouth is now signed to Houston based independent label Rap-A-Lot Records, so there is another connection to H Town to verify me writing this blog. Yukmouth is now CEO of his own label Smoke-A-Lot Records, which is distributed by Rap-A-Lot. Anyway, Numskull is jumping back into the music world with Numworld, his CD that he is dropping on May 29th (yeah...not this thursday. my bad haha).

There's no fool-proof way of finding the perfect woman to become your wife but here are few ways of knowing if she isn't.

To be able to smoke weed and get high with alll your friends, neighbors, coworkers, family members (adults), or total strangers WITHOUT PAYING FOR ANY WEED, is simple:
Spending a lot of money on dinners, movies, and whatever doesn't mean that you're going to get some. It'll be nice to know that it's going down after a nice time out. But after the third or fourth date and you still haven't gotten any, sometimes you wanna ask, "Would you mind some Dick to go with that 'Broccoli and Cheese?' It is just as clean as that steak that you're eating."

1. First you will need a blunt,or a sweet, or a Optimo-A cigar.
(Buying an expensive cigar will destroy a perfct roll. They have layers and layers of tobacco.)

Alright I see a lot of ya'll feel like hatin on Lil' Flip lately. Well seeing as that he is one of the main dudes who got me real interested in Houston hip-hop, I'm gonna have to back the dude up. I don't know a single damn person who didn't jam that "I Can Do That" song back in 2000 when Flip dropped The Leprechaun. Oh yeah and by the way that CD went platinum. Then Flip dropped Undaground Legend in 2002, and everybody was jammin "This is The Way We Ball." Oh yeah and by the way that CD went platinum too.
Z-Ro is still locked up. I don't know when he gets out (apprently around June of this year). Write the dude a letter if you're really a damn fan. I don't know what it's like to do time in state jail, but I know I'd appreciate the letters. Lord knows there isn't shit to do in there aside from lift weights and keep to yourself that is positive activity.

R.I.P John Hawkins. I know that all ya'll real Houston hip-hop heads are missing that dude. I still can't believe he's gone. Well a new album from the late great Houston MC titled Endangered Species is slated to drop on May 1st, 2007. The album is being dropped on the one year anniversary of Hawk's death. We all need to get out and support HAWK and his family by picking up the album. I will continue to give updates on that album until it's release, as I receive more information and details.
Hey...guess what? Today is the beginning of my mother fucking spring break. Am I in school? Does it matter? I don't care if you're young or old...you remember (or are still experiencing) spring break. Well..in light of the fact that I don't have shit to do, work or school wise, besides write blogs for the next week...I am having a video party on this damn blog. I appreciate the feedback from yesterday's Beyonce blog. Some of it was agreeing with me, and some of it was disagreeing with me. It doesn't matter...I am glad that all of you got involved and actually had something to say about the situation. Just for the record, I support this website to the fullest, and love what this website is about.
Alright in light of the recent "Hot Press" headlines and article (yesterday on this website), I have to come to the defense of Beyonce. The woman is the "hottest chick in the game" according to Jay-Z and millions of fans. The last few years of her career have been the best of any female hip-hop star in the history of hip-hop. Yet, she still gets hated on? Well...it turns out that I do get some power out of having my own blog to represent Houston...I get to speak my mind on whatever I want.
G.R.i.T stands for Ghetto Reality In Texas, and the "i" is small because there is no "I" in the G.R.i.T Boys. They are signed to TVT Records/Mo' Betta Music, and are set to drop an album around the 2nd quarter of '07. Some of the group's members are: Poppy, Scooby, and Unique. They are all coming up out of the southside of H Town, and attended Worthing High School (at different times).
Alright, this is gonna be a huge month for Houston hip-hop as a whole. We got albums from Lil' Flip (3/27/07), Devin the Dude (3/20/07), Mike Jones (3/08/07 or 4/03/07?), and Paul Wall (4/03/07). Then next month obviously we got Cham dropping and some other shit going on. Anyway I hope you're saving your money to cop some of those CDs.
That got your attention didn't it? It's a video day...you don't like that? Oh no...the 3 hours of your life that you usually spend on this site reading mindless bullshit...it's all gonna be interupted by entertaining videos that represent the H and your still gonna be mad? Please...PLEASE don't insult me. I cry at night when you guys get on here and hate. Me and the blog-writing community are very upset with the number of negative posts we are receiving. We have formed a 12 step program to ensure the health and safety of the community....as blog writers we are extremely concerned. That is all.
