Magno AKA Magnificent. I seen a couple of ya'll wanted to get a Magno blog up on here, well...here ya go. The first time I ever heard Magno was on 1st Round Draft Picks with Mike Jones, and that was honestly the CD that really started to get me deep into the Houston underground scene. I had never heard a CD that from front to back banged (atleast not underground)...every single song. Now sense then I have gone back and definately found other CDs that are sick from start to finish. Some were made before, and some after, 1st Round Draft Picks. However, being a younger dude, that was the first CD that I heard and was like damn...H Town has some serious shit on the come-up.

Nowadays we all know that Magno is no longer with Swishahouse, which is the label that 1st Round Draft Picks was dropped under. Due to contract disputes involving money distribution, which is explained in Magno's song "Before I move on," which most of you have probably heard, Magno left the Swishahouse. Magnificent is signed to DJ Clue's label, Desert Storm South.

Personally, I have no idea what the fuck Mag is doin on Clue's label, because it doesn't seem like they have a damn thing going on. Whatever though. Anyway Mag has been staying up on the mixtape game. It seems like Magno is the main event in the Desert Storm Camp though...we'll just have to wait and see what they do with him, and his talent.

good blog man magno is another slept on artist but i think people are looking pass texas bc mike and paul and that was a corny move by cham take out the ice bc of what poeple think not a good look especially with all the teeth in that niiga mouth

I still can't believe Mag went to DJ Clues label either.. thats just gonna take out all the H-Town style out of him. There's no way you can leave Swishahouse, who jam screw and like it slow, and move to DJ Clue and expect anything like the same music, no way.
