Alright, here is some new up-and-coming shit for you out of La Marque, Galveston, and Houston's South Side. These dudes are called the TMI Boyz, and I had never heard 'em before today, but damn these dudes deserve a listen. They got a hot new single produced by, and featuring, Mannie Fresh, and out of the 3 songs I've heard, that one isn't even my favorite.

Houston, Texas, what's crackin? What do you know? Chamillionaire, the truth, makes another move to gain even more of my (and hopefully all of your) respect. As I have said before, I will say again. Cham grinds/earns harder than anyone in the game. I get e-mails left and right updating me on this dude's current situation. Chamillioniare's album still got a couple months before release, yet I cannot name a time in the past year when Cham's name wasn't all over the damn place.
What's good Houston? The next few months are gonna be huge for Houston hip-hop with major Houston artists dropping albums left and right. We have established ourselves as a major hip-hop culture city, and this next few months will determine if we actually stay up on top or not. Today I just want to go over some of the good things we can definately expect to come out of this nexy quarter, and some things that may or may not go well.
What's up H Town. I know a lot of you boys aren't agreeing with shit I've been saying lately, and are hating on me for not writing enough/not having enough new topics. That's all good and gravy for real I respect each and every one of ya'lls opinions. However, I have to defend myself saying in all honesty there isn't enough real news going on in the H (as of right now) to post 2 blogs a day. I mean I could go and bullshit ya'll by throwing up worthless shit that nobody likes to hear about twice a day...but I'm not gonna do that. I can't do shit about whether you like it or not. I been here for a couple months...I talked to alot of ya'll on a one on one basis through this blog. Still alot of ya'll are hating on me now. I can't say shit to ya'll except hang with me mayne cuz coming up in the next few months the H is gonna be doing big thangs again. Gimme a chance. I do care about Houston...
I got nothing...Z-Ro and Trae videos all around...
Alright I have plenty of complaints about the present state of hip-hop, but today I'm gonna talk about one specific thing that is bothering the shit out of me. Lil' Flip, a very talented Houston artist, is almost certainly dumbing down his music to appeal to a larger crowd. Yeah, yeah I know...every artist generalizes, dumbs down their music, and becomes more mainstream when they hit it big. That is a bullshit excuse that the hip-hop community as a whole has accepted as the normal, when that is not the way it should be at all.
Alright I was doing my daily rounds trying to find some new fire out of the lineup of CDs set to release out of Houston in the next few months, and I stumbled across something that really got me excited. I've said it before...Devin the Dude's new album Waitin' To Inhale is set to release on March 27th of this year, and it is very highly anticipated throughout the hip-hop world...not just in Houston. Well I finally got a hold of one of the songs that is set to be on the album, and I can guarantee I'll be jamming it for months.
The lyrical mastermind we all know as K-Rino appears to be gearing to drop two CDs coming up in late February. This is good. I can't speak for anyone but myself, but the first time I heard a K-Rino joint I was blown away (not cuz of anything I may or may not have been smoking). The dude's lyrical abilities are rivaled by very few, and Chamillionaire is the only Houston artist I can think of that can even be put on the same chart as K-Rino lyrically.
Welcome to the always interesting 1 pm update. I was just browsing random Houston rappers' myspace pages and noticed something I found to be quite funny. Mike Jones aka Mr. Jones aka Dike Jones is now referring to himself as The Mayor of Houston. Now I know all rappers call themselves one thing or another to seem like they are badass, but this one just strikes me as humorous.
Chamillionaire is insanely hard working if you haven't already figured that out. Dude is constantly on his grind and creating buzz for his album that is slated to release on March 27th entitled Ultimate Victory. He recently released a song that is confirmed to be on the upcoming album onto his myspace (www.myspace.com/chamillionaire), and it is all over several different websites.
Alright let's kick the weekend off right with the Old Skool Video of the Week, which is something I'm gonna start posting every Friday at 1 pm. I chose this E.S.G joint cuz you all need to jam this shit and relax. Too many people in this day and age are all tensed up, stressed out, and straight trippin all the time.
Alright I don't know if ya'll seen the video for Tussle by Big Tuck feat. Slim Thug but I'm gonna post it cuz it's Texas baby. I'm also gonna post some other Slim Thug videos cuz I'm busy as hell and don't have shit to write about today. You gonna cry?
You know what? I have love for Houston and everything that the South is about, but everytime I try to show ya'll someone is whack you call me a hater. That is all gravy I mean you get your opinion and I get mine. This shit isn'y opinionated though...I was watching a bunch of Paul Wall videos and listening to a bunch of his old school songs with Cham and shit, and it genuinely pisses me off how much this dude has changed.
Alright all you wannabe superstar/rapper/producer/whatever-the-fuck you want to do people. The one and only Diddy is bringing his people to Houston for the tryout to be on Making The Band 4. Go out and by yourself some new clothes, stop posting your myspace page all over the place like it's gonna do shit, and get out to the audition if you really think you got the talent and actually give a shit.

I found this video earlier and thought it was entertaining enough to post. Jokaman is a definite player to watch in the Houston hip-hop scene this year. He's dropping an album, In the FastLane, this month so I thought I'd hit you guys with a little insight on to what the dude is about.
Alright welcome to the 1:00 update that will now be occuring everyday to keep you people checkin the site daily, because we all know you don't have other shit to do. I was thinking about how Swishahouse used to be the shit and I'm gonna celebrate that thought with a slew of Swishahouse videos.
What's up ya'll. I hope ya'll had a great MLK day. Turns out OG Ron C is gonna have a talent contest that anyone can enter. The OG is gonna host this talent search in Texas, Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Louisiana. The talent search is called the R.E.A.L Talent Search Tour.

Once again Chamillionaire has impressed me with his ability to keep it real. It's like he took the words right out of my mouth in regards to these wannabe, annoying, spamming, pesty, worthless myspace dudes. I know you've all been to your favorite rappers myspace and looked at their wall and seen post, after post, of straight bullshit from wannabe rappers all over the world. Well Cham finally made a statement in his blog about these annoying mother fuckers.
You wanna hate for what I said about Paul? Fine. H-Town is known for sticking together. This southern thing is about showing love and respect for everyone. You think I would've put the dude on blast if I disrespected his hustle? Get real...I don't like Paul Wall as a rapper at all but you know what? Anyone getting their money has my respect. As for you people getting on here dogging on me for what I say...fuck you...take my job. Dude can get his money all he wants...but throwing up a fund for "red diamonds in grills" is a bullshit front to make it look like he gives a fuck.
Alright you all know the jolly, iced out, chubby "rapper" known as Paul Wall. Dude has definitely gotten his money the last couple of years, and has been very fortunate in the hip-hop industry. Turns out that the self-proclaimed "People's Champ" is teaming up with Zenetti, which is apparently a leader in auto customization and accessories, to bring some extra shine to the auto aftermarket. They have created a custom line of grills and wheels encrusted with cubic zirconium stones.

Today is Trae Day. This dude is nowhere near recognized enough nationwide, so I'm gonna throw him a bone and make sure these punk ass mother fuckers recognize a dude's heat. Trae and ABN hold it down for Houston just as hard as anyone out this city.
Alright it's Monday and for those of you who are too lazy to download Chamillionaire's new, free CD Mixtape Messiah 2, I'm gonna throw down a few of the songs off that CD. I know I've already blogged on this subject, but it isn't getting enough attention.
What up what up. Guess what? I got shit to write about today so it's fuckin happy Houston video day all up in this biaaaaaatch.
What's up Houston. Sorry for the blogless Wednesday ... the internet provider at my apartment complex is a piece of shit and was fucked up all day. It's all gravy though let's do this thursday thing. Alright as you all know, Mike Jones is set to release his sophomore major label album, The American Dream, in the first quarter of this year. Well Slim Thug and the Boss Hogg Outlawz are also prepared to drop a CD first quarter.

Alright it's 2007 and thank God last year is over. I hope ya'll had a good old drunken New Year. Personally, I'm still feeling a mad hangover. Hopefully this year people will stop using the played out phrase "hip-hop is dead," people will stop blaming hip-hops lousy sales on the South, and rappers will get over themselves. Odds are none of that will happen, but hey we can hope can't we?
