Wuz the deal Houston? It is time for the return of that old school, bad ass, southern duo that we all know as UGK. As most of you know, the Underground Kingz have been planning to drop that new album called U.G.K.Underground Kingz. Bun B did his own thang while the Pimp was locked upand put out that Trill, and we all know that was fire. Pimp C got out the can and Rap-A-Lot released Pimpilation Compilation. However, we all know how much anticipation there has been looking forward to a new UGK album, and the date is set. The album was scheduled to drop on December 27th of this year, but the word from Jive Records is it was pushed back and is now scheduled to be released February 27th of '07.
According to Jive, the album can be described as "original UGK material." It’s about damn time. I'm ready for
some country rap tunes, and I'm pretty sure that’s what we got comin' our direction. The album is said to have production from Pimp C, Lil Jon, Jazze Pha, Marley Marl, Swizz Beatz, and Scarface (Face produced three tracks). On top of that insane line up of producers, the album has a hot list of features too: T.I., Rick Ross, Slim Thug, Sleepy Brown, Three Six Mafia, Willy D,
Kool G Rap, and Big Daddy Kane. I'm lookin’ forward to this CD, I know the
rest of the H is lookin forward to it, too. Let's hope UGK can get that nation wide approval that they deserve this time around.
I found a rumored track listing that is obviously not 100% true, but could
give you some idea of what we're lookin at:

Three 6 Mafia)

10. "Shattered Dreams" (featuring Sleepy Brown) (Produced by Pimp C)

22. "Heaven" (Produced by Pimp C)
23. "Live This Life" (Produced by NO Joe)
24. "Underground Kingz" (Produced by Pimp C)
Again this is rumored, not confirmed by Jive. Some of it is obviously not gonna be true.

On another note, how bout that free Mixtape Messiah 2 by Chamillionaire. Talk about showin love back to yo fans. Cham is a cold dude and I can't believe he's gonna give out the entire CD on his website, www.chamillionaire.com on Christmas eve. Now that is some cool shit. His album, Ultimate Victory, is apparently being released on March, 27 of next
year ... but I've heard alot of different dates bein' thrown around that are sooner than that. Time will tell.
Check out this UGK video.
Bitch, I'm workin wood wheel.
