If you haven't heard Chamillionaire's new song by now, then I got you covered. On the song, titled "I'm Back," (my thoughts on it later), Cham mentions that Universal wanted him to drop an album this year. His reply to their request?

"Aw hell nah"

"Universal want a new one, want me to drop this year/ I'm Visine with my skin; when I drop it's clear"

It's true. At his platinum party Cham disclosed that the label asked him to drop The Ultimate Victory (again, I despise this title) in December, and he told them "You can't rush a good thing. I'll drop when I'm ready." According to him, the album is slated for February 2007.

Chamillionaire - "I'm Back"
The bass thump. The staccato stems. In these times of heightened anti-southern rap sentiments, a strong ear is a valued asset. The kid has a way of making his voice function as part of the orchestration.

Z-Ro Back in Jail?
Word on the street is that your boy 'Ro is back in his favorite place. If anyone hears anything substantial about this, I'm listening.
